Bucks badly need help on the boards (if only until Loped comes back). But the Moose could also just be a 10 day stopgap if we are working on a more significant upgrade.

From what I saw with his time here, absolutely. His game isn't a great fir for the modern-day but he seems in shape. Very good passer and can get some boards. He can play a traditional post big man role if that is what you are looking for. He didn't stick here because he doesn't really fit our play style but he was still useful. His debut game was really good.

I thought he did pretty good for a spot fill back when the wolves starters were all out with Covid

Wow. Pelicans are definitely not throwing in the towel and they have been solid lately. This might give them the boost to be a play-in team. If Zion comes back, they could be a problem. Fortunately, this hopefully means Portland will be done this season and won't go on one of their traditional 10 game win streaks to make a late playoff push lol.

Blazers got Alexander-Walker, always thought that kid would break out into a star, maybe he does for Portland. Larry Nance Jr. is gone too, that's a guy we were rumored to be interested in for the last couple of seasons.

I'd def like to see the wolves try and snatch a big up who can rebound and defend.

Been skimming various sacramento forums. Their fans are furious.

I'll be honest - I don't follow the Kings too closely. But wasn't Haliburton the player that they wouldn't put into a trade for Simmons? But now they do to get Sabonis (who I like as a player, but I don't see as a cornerstone) and two nice (but not star) NBA wing types. D.Fox and D.Sabonis on "D" seems to me to be a recurring nightmare for anyone else that DOES play "D" on the Kings (like Davion Mitchell). Sacramento did get rid of Hield, which they wanted to do per Dane Moore's recent podcast with the Kings SacBee writer (but that writer said that Haliburton was off limits in any deal). So at least that's a positive.

To recap, the Kings traded arguably their best 2-way player, who was on a cost controlled contract, to pick up another big who needs the ball and doesn't defend well on the perimeter, while still not getting rid of their glut of centers. Ok. Moving on...

And from a short term wolves perspective - How many of those Pacers can get to Sacramento, get a physical done, and be ready to play tonight/tomorrow - and recall that the Sacramento part of the trade cannot play tonight either.... and D.Fox has been a game time decision due to ankle soreness. Who are we going to see tonight?

Don’t forget the guys need to go through physicals and the paperwork needs processing. I doubt we see any Pacer players tonight. Just the kings minus the guys they are sending out. Tomorrow, we likely face the new Kings. Assuming they don’t make any further moves between now and then.

Let’s just say they remind me of a certain character in Reacher (the new tv series on Prime.) A certain character has a bad end involving nails. Private message me for details as I want to avoid spoilers.

You have to think Kings will be moving Harrison Barnes as well in the next 48 hours.

I guess we won't need to face Haliburton and Hield tonight?
