It’s crazy how things work out. Rosas trades up to six in the draft a couple years ago targeting Darius Garland. The Cavs and Hawks, picking 4 and 5, had just picked small guards (Sexton and Trae), so Garland didn’t seem like an option for them. Cavs surprise and take Garland.

Garland has completely blossomed this year with Sexton out. He’s a complete stud. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is a perennial all star from here on out. He’s a scorer/shooter also but a true PG, a hard combo to find.

With Garland gone, we take Culver. We know how that turned out.

And if we get Garland, we don’t trade for DLo. Which means we keep our pick and we have Kuminga, who is going to be much better than I thought. It’ll take time, but he’s a freak athlete with skills.

But in your butterfly effect scenario....if we don't make DLo deal & still have Wiggs...do we still draft Ant &/or even get the #1 pick? Garland & Kuminga are good &/or in the latter appears he's heading that way....but still think I'm okay with the current reality & Ant.

Exactly, you change one thing a lot of other things change.

That said the Garland growth just shows me Rosas was definitely on his game. I think he made the Culver pick in a flustered situation and it backfired. He was right about Garland though as he has been right about the majority of his talent evaluation IMO. I never considered Vanderbilt anything worthwhile when we traded for him. Naz Reid seemed like a random shot. Nowell was quiet for two years. He hit on nearly all of this picks/moves. Even Dlo is showing stuff we didn't know he had. Finch is another feather in Rosas cap, a guy he wanted to hire from day 1.

Still kills me that we didn't get Darius Garland, I loved him before the Draft.

In the end, it has turned out well, but he is a really special offensive talent.

The trade should have been for his rights instead of a pick we expected to land him. Truth was we never had a chance. This isn’t the classic we picked someone else instead of him, this is the traditional he went before we picked.

Nets in Philly without Simmons and they are up 72 to 51 at the half. LMAO I love it.

102 to 70 at the end of 3. DHM and all his burners can suck it.

I don’t know how Philly expects to win a title without a starting caliber point that can run an offense and a starter that does nothing offensively.

Nets didn’t even need Simmons to clown the 76ers. Not gonna lie the McDonalds jingle kept popping into my head, because you better believe I was loving it.

The Bulls just cannot beat any top team, it is very weird, they are 0-16, that's terrible.

We are seeing Warriros fans really get on Klay, they are fed up. Just goes to show like I have said in the past, when someone has a major injury you almost have to add the time they missed on top of the time then they come back. It takes a LONG time to get back into game shape. You miss a full season, you pretty much need a full season to get back to where you were.

30 games just isn't enough for Klay to get close, it sounds like a lot but its a huge adjustment when you are playing at an elite level. Any discrepancy in ability yields major results. Why guys fall off a cliff when they get old fast. You lose just that little bit of speed, stamina, reaction, whatever and it makes a world of diffecne.

The Bulls are so bad right now. The fact that they could not beat one good team was a huge red flag. Everyone was talking about how amazing they are earlier in the season, saying they are for real, DeRozen is MVP, etc.

They got a worse record than us. Never thought that would happen a couple of months ago when the Bulls were at peak hype.

Man, I bet a bunch on the Suns thinking they would whoop the Clippers. Had no idea they rested their entire damn team. Tragic.

Sorry man. I try to avoid any kind of sports betting with less than two weeks in a season, just to unpredictable. The good news is you can probably make it back in the playoffs betting on the Nets to clobber the Heat, or whoever ends up in second if they take 7th.
