Would love it if we didn't get into foul trouble the first half so that we get a glimpse at Finch's planned rotation... Was listening to the Locked On Wolves podcast and the host inexplicably failed to mention that foul trouble was the reason why McDaniels was the first sub. I highly doubt that will be the rotation going forward

If Ant shows the same defensive aggression tonight like he did on Monday, it's time to get even more pumped about his future than I already am.

One of the things that really stood out to me in the last game was the enthusiasm that every player showed towards their team mates. Life is so much easier when you're surrounded by positivity.

Finch said before last game not to read into rotations

Finch isn’t my boss I can read into whatever I want Klomp.

But for real I am beginning to think he will be very flexible with his lineups this year which worries me a little bit but if it’s working then why try to fix it

Can somebody explain Bally Sports North for me. It was always Fox sports north. Did they buy Fox sports or simply outbid them to broadcast the Wolves?

It's still Fox Sports North (Sinclair) - They just sold the naming rights.

Thanks for the answer. This was bugging me. Should I be able to find Wolves games on Fox sports north still?

I have Direct TV and it stayed on the same station in the Channel Guide (668). They just changed the channel initials from "FSN" to "BSN".

I have nothing against Bowen and Miller, but they should not play tonight, Layman and Nowell need those minutes. I have no problem giving Knight and Wright some run. Also in the spirit of preseason, let Bolmaro start. It won’t happen in the regular season, but let’s see what he can do against the best of the other team (one game only, and again just because it’s preseason. Also to gauge his defense more than anything else.) I would also like to see a lineup of Beverly, Nowell, Beasley, MCD, and KAT tonight.

Well of course you can do whatever you want, but it's not going to do yourself any good because he's said there won't be anything to glean from it.

I'll give you the long version.
When Disney bought Fox, federal regulators made Fox sell their regional sports networks off separately because with Disney owning ESPN it would have given them a monopoly (It's ridiculus they let Disney buy any large companyy as they were already a huge monopoly, but I digress0.

All the Fox Regional Sports networks were sold off to Sinclair broadcasting who own a ton of local broadcast affiliates around the country among other things. SInclair reached a deal with Bally aimed at injecting live gambling into the programming (still a work in progress) and they rebranded all the RSN's under the Bally Sports Umbrella.

Then about a year ago all the RSN's were dropped from all the streaming services (outside of AT&T as far as I'm aware) due to rights fee disagreements. There has been talk of SInclair raising money to start their own streaming service, but nothing concrete yet.
As many many people dropped cable and now get their TV through streaming, it has contributed to a large drop in viewership (Twins were down about half year over year).

MLBTV and NBA League pass are still ways to stream the Twins and Wolves, but they are subject to local blackouts (IE if you live in the viewing area of one of the teams playing the game is blacked out). However, this is easily worked around with use of a VPN which will run you about 10$ a month for a decent one.

Interesting stats from Dane Moores podcast.

When the wolves and nuggets met in that 2018 play in the season finale, this is how things have changed since the start of that season.

Wolves GM changes: 3
Wolves Coach changes: 3
Nuggets: Same GM
Nuggets: Same Coach
Remaining wolves starters on the roaster: 1/5 (Towns, actually the only player on the team that was on that team)
Remaining nuggets starters on the roster: 3/5

Wolves have had zero consistency and stability, Nuggets have held steady and became rock solid.
