Yeah. This is not what he meant. He’s not going to say anything publicly, but I wouldn’t be shocked if he makes a trade demand at some point this season. He’s frustrated.

Re: Does KAT Want Out?
Is gonna happen at some point, I've been saying that for a long time now. At the end of this season without playoffs, 2 years left on his contract. And even if we somehow manage to get to the playoffs, is probably a 1st round exit in an easy way.
But for me, the question is if the Wolves should collect the maximum amount of talent in a possible KAT trade and right away, I mean, before the trade deadline at least.
Kat is great, don't get me wrong but he's just not a player you can build around as your number 1 option (He's not Jokic or even Embiid by any means).

Re: Does KAT Want Out?
I feel like you can get more in a trade in the offseason than at the deadline quite often so unless someone offers something crazy I wouldn't worry about any of it till the offseason. If your team is trending the right way and maybe hits the playoffs with KAT getting some love I think he would be fine sticking around. Plus things like this are always blown up into a bigger deal than they usual are.

The reason he isn’t a Jokic or Embiid is because he is a PF not a C. KAT is a lot more like AD then Embiid. KAT doesn’t like the physical interior play which is why he seeks whistles to back off opposing bigs. KAT is an elite shooter and the focus of every defense. To say KAT isn’t a good enough number 1 is just silly. The number 1 is always the guy who teams set up the defense for. The better question is who are KAT’s number 2s? Other than Butler who has done as much as KAT when KAT is on the bench? The man is playing around 36 min a game and still losing. Ant and Dlo need to carry the load and we need Beasley to preform as well.

KAT is not Davis either then. And to be clear, I would never consider Davis as a number option for my team.
Well, he can be, same as KAT but they are not going anywhere with those guys as your number 1 option.
That's for sure.
As for the rest, Ant maybe can be as good as we think one day, maybe. As for DLO, just give up, trash trash trash, on a 30M contract.

Going with the good old, I was hacked excuse. I highly doubt someone hacked his account and instead of posting something, liked a single tweet. Come on KAT. Own it. You were frustrated. It happens.

Re: Does KAT Want Out?
I hope he does! It is the only way we will ever move forward. When he leaves he will have to get used to being a number 2 or 3 because that is what he is on a good team. People are wanting to keep him and you get to watch him every night show you he is not a lead dog. He is Kevin Love 2.0 Get a ton of picks and get this franchise moving forward.

I mean, who cares? At some point we need to try something different. Karl's been here 7 years and we're getting the same results.

Re: Does KAT Want Out?
To be honest, KAT is a great basketball player, but not elite. Watching Jokic, Giannis and George play the past few weeks, it shows that those players are on a different level. I can't see KAT as a 200 million dollar player. I can't think of one time this year where I thought KAT was carrying the Wolves like George and Jokic did for their teams.
I'm fine with trading him if the return is solid. I don't think he's worth that big of an extension.

Sorry but I gotta disagree. You forget that we completely cleaned house mid season 2019. Then after like 7-9 games we had to shut down for Covid. The 20-21 season was shortened with no proper pre season and enough horrible variables to render the data all but moot. I mean losing KAT for 20 of the first 30, not to mention Dlo and Beasley missing significant time. All of this while dealing with Ryan in the first half and Finch trying to get a handle on things in the second half. My point is this is the first data set that really means anything since the Rosas rebuild. Yes we are 3-4 but that isn’t even 10% of the season. We desperately need to trade some of our depth for some size. Everyone and their mother knows we cannot rebound or defend the paint properly without more size. That said, our defense has improved in measurable ways, and two bad quarters (Orlando 4th and Clippers 3rd,) are all that stand between us and 5-2. We need to let the season play out a bit and let our guys settle in before we know anything. Moreover, we need to make that move for size ASAP to sure up our weak spots.

Even the truly elite players you still have to build the right team around in order to be successful. Look how long it took Dallas to build a championship team around Nowitzki. Look how someone like Garnett was failed to be built around. Look how Barkley never had the pieces to win. Look how Malone and Stockton never won a ring.

He absolutely should, my Draft Board is literally better than the team’s every single season, and I am a random Internet loser. I hope for his sake that he makes an effort to leave.

This.
And this trade deadline could be max value for KAT. Imagine if Beal and Dame stay home. Simmons saga is solved (not to Wolves). Towns could be the biggest name on the block. He is 26, 2.5 years locked in, ready to help a team in playoffs as 1B level player.

Finally I am so over this whiney dude and the wolves organization trying to keep him happy (and making real dumb decisions because of that). He really aint the superstar he thinks he is

Karl-Anthony Towns is a tremendous player, and it is pure sour grapes to pretend otherwise. Dude is going to be awesome on a less inept squad.

I never said he wasn’t tremendous but super star in nba? , not really, his attitude needs to change for that to happen. He is too whiney and soft.
