Upcoming 10 game schedule is relatively tough. Almost all the matches except one are against teams currently in playoff spots.

11/24 - Heat (H)
11/26 - Hornets (A)
11/27 - Sixers (A)
11/29 - Pacers (H)
12/1 - Wizards (A)
12/3 - Nets(A)
12/6 - Hawks (H)
12/8 - Jazz (H)
12/10 - Cavs (H)
12/12 - Blazers (A)

I would be fine with 4-5 wins..anything above 5 wins would be pretty good and anything below 4 wins would be disappointing

Come out close to .500 and I am good. We have to stay afloat in the .500 range most of the season, hope to be several games over to make the play in/playoffs.

Without Beverly this got harder. Tonight’s win was magnificent but Beverly is one third of the seasons foundation beside Towns and V8. Towns has brought offense and efficiency and we just such a different team without him. V8 has made us the best offensive rebounding team in the league doubling up the heat’s entire team tonight with 8/4. Beverly is our defensive MVP and our player coach extraordinaire.

I was thinking about it last night and the Hornets are in interesting matchup for us. We are the 4th ranked defense playing the 21st, but we are the 18th ranked offense and they are the 12th. Gonna call it now, Wolves win that game by a comfortable margin and the Hornets don’t reach 100.

5 games in and Wolves are currently 3-2.

Probably lose the next 3 if KAT doesn’t play. Really need him back ASAP. That said, I want him to stay away until he is really healthy. Last thing we need is him coming back to soon because we drop a few and get a serious injury that lingers or god forbid ends his season.

I was one of them. Shocked they have already lost 2 of them...

I voted 5 and 5 and I hope we can still pull it off with KAT’s fall.

I just want to get through the rest of 2021 with a .500 record or better.

I think that's my motto for the season.....get through the difficult stretches at .500, beat up the weaker opponents when you can. Early in January we have a 4-game stretch with OKC (x2), Houston and New Orleans. Group wins like that together. Similar story in February with consecutive doubleheaders against Detroit and Sacramento.

A while back when we started winning I asked for 12 and 12. It didn’t happen the way I expect (loss to Hornets, win over 76ers,) but I would be very happy just winning tonight and worrying about the rest tomorrow.

I understand fans' frustrations when you go in with certain expectations that get shattered. Teams win ones you didn't expect and you think there's no reason they can't win all of them. So then you get a dud against a bad team and it's frustrating.

I think we might end up being a streaky team all year. But despite going 3-1 to 1-8 to 7-3, we're still hovering right around .500 which is about what we expected coming in.

I expected 5-3 in the first 8 and got 3-5, that was frustrating. I was Apoplectic when we got to 4-9. Then we started playing basketball again. I don’t mind losing some games I think we should win, as long as we win some I thought we should lose (76ers back end of a back to back,) and compete in one’s like Brooklyn where the circumstances say we should get crushed but we take it to the final possession. Overall, I am okay with the season so far, but I really believe we need to hurry up and get bigger ASAP.

.500 ball will get you in the play-in, and maybe playoffs. Got to stay around .500 for most of the season, maybe go on a run or two to finish above.
