Wolves currently have the worst FT disparity this season...the difference between Wolves and 2nd worst team is also pretty big

I'm assuming the last 2 posts have something significant to do with each other.

Plus we commit a ton of fouls. Not getting to the line plus sending opponents to the line is a bad combo.

Considering how bad Prince started the season, I found it surprising that this has been Prince's best season shooting wise..his EFG% has been 56.5%

Setting the standard in three point VOLUME. That’s not an accomplishment,

The guy that’s actually shooting them well has far fewer attempts.

When Beasley is making shots the Wolves are a very dangerous team, unfortunately that has not been the case in far too many games. Looking at Beasley's game log for the season, around a 25% of his games he makes 0-1 3s on 5+ attempts. Compare that to the 2020-21 season where under 10% of his games met that criteria. For Minnesota to take another step Malik needs to drastically cut down on his awful shooting nights.

Or replace him with a high volume, above average 3 point shooter.

It's a race to 190. Kevin Love still holds the record for most 3-pointers made in a season.

1. Love (2013-14): 190
2. Edwards (2020-21): 171
3. Beasley (2021-22): 146
4. Edwards (2021-22): 145

It seems like if we just have any of Beasley, McDaniels, or Prince playing well we get significantly more capable to win. Just that one extra player could make a big difference.

Wolves have had best offense in NBA over the past month...this is when all the starters returned from covid and role players finally started hitting open 3's

Saunders was a terrible coach. Finch’s first half year should hardly count trying to clean up that mess.

At the very least we should throw out the first five games when he didn't even know his players yet. I count it as 43-45 (.488).

It's not that crazy to think that Finch could be .500 as coach of the Wolves if Minnesota finishes the season strong (19-11 record with 11 games left against teams outside of the play-in and that doesn't count 2 games against Portland, who may be blowing it up). If they win 46 games this year, Finch record will be 62-61. Amazing.

Dane’s podcast also talks about Beasley shooting a similar number of 3s per game this season and last season despite playing around 7 less minutes per game this season. He said it was “a 123% increase,” relative to his minutes played.

2020-21: 8.7 attempts in 32.8 minutes
2021-22: 8.3 attempts in 25.9 minutes
