I wonder if they will relax the two way rules and allow two way players to fill in without using up days?

I mean, I get they need to keep making money to keep the machine chugging. But at what point do people just stop watching?

Like if KAT and DLo go into these protocols is there even a point? We'd basically be watching the Iowa Wolves and hoping whichever team we're playing is as equally **** as we are.

I agree, but imagine your a Lakers fan and you had two or more losses with your team decimated by Covid and then the NBA shuts down to spare other teams. On a human level I agree and think the season should be suspended, but from a business perspective I think the rot is already in the wood.

This is how we are going to find out star our new rotation center.

My guess is Reid and Knight play together tomorrow. MCD starts in place of V8 and Nowell and Beasley start in place of Beverly and Ant. I would even use Wright instead of JMAC, but that is just me.

I'd like to see the NBA add a couple more two-way contract slots that are open to all veteran players. That way teams could have guys playing for their G-League team that could move up and down easily while knowing the system.

I do like that Tucker and Silva have both played a lot of NBA games already - so they won't be shellshocked if they see the floor. They are also two guys who have been known to play defense at a high level.

In fact, I would start Silva tonight in Vando's spot. He's been playing that spot in Des Moines and it keeps Reid in his normal spot in the rotation. Plus, the Wolves never seem to play that well when Reid and Towns share the floor.

Starters
Silva
McDaniels
Towns
Beasley
Russell

Bench
Bolmaro/Layman
Knight
Reid
Nowell
JMac/Tucker - with Nowell or Bolmaro handling the ball.

Covid is running wild right now. Really sucks, so many people I know are getting it when for the first year I only knew a couple. I'm definitely taking more precautions at this time as I got it too last month and some members of my family. Seems pretty rampant right now. Happy I did a lot of fun stuff in the summer and fall before this wave hit.

It actually makes a ton of sense when you think about it. I mean, first you have Covid fatigue with people wanting to go back to daily life. Then add a vaccine that makes an already sometimes asymptomatic virus even less likely to cause serious illness. Finally add to the mix this is a variant with elements of the common cold which make it much more contagious, and you have a perfect storm. The real danger is that Covid keeps mutating until it gets to the point where it becomes truly terrifying. The answer is every rich country in the world should be mass producing vaccine and giving it away for free to the rest of the world. Even if 20-30% of the world populace doesn’t take it, vaccinating everyone else will help stop mutations.

Sheesh. That man, like he said himself, can't catch a freaking break. Here's hoping he won't have to go through the same **** as he did last year and the vaccine and maybe some remaining antibodies from last year will have any effect.

If anyone single player in the entire league got the booster it is KAT. I have hope that the vaccine will keep it somewhat mild if not entirely asymptomatic.
