Looking ahead at the schedule we are in a serious stretch. I think as long as we are .500 we have a good shot to get the play-in and make the playoffs but really, we should be shooting to be over .500. I don't know if we can do it, we will have to play better than we have all season, we really need Beasley, Nowell, Naz, the bench to be consistently solid.

If we do go something like 6-4 over these next 10, we are in a really good spot. Securing the 6th seed is not out of reach but now is the time for the team to get going. I really hope we can pull this off, though I remain confident that we will wind up being a .500 ish team. My initial estimate is that we would finish the season with about 44 wins.

We beat the Hawks tonight and it will be a nice first step. They have struggled this year but they are still the team that had a deep run in the improved east. They aren't a joke. This should be a tough game and a good test.

We need this win BAD...this is a brutal stretch coming up:

Nets, Blazers, Warriors, Suns, Jazz, Nuggets..only 1 of those teams is below .500

After that, we have Pistons x2, Sacramento x2, Bulls, Pacers, Hornets & Raptors before the all-star break.

Need this win tonight to at least get 2 games separation before that brutal 6 game stretch

Yes, it is going to be very rough. If we come out with more wins than losses in that stretch I will be very happy.

I think this one is very winnable. It will require a huge game from KAT and a solid game from either Ant or Dlo. A nice performance by Nowell, Beasley, and Reid would go a long way.

These are games where greater depth of talent comes in handy. No longer just on one man to carry us when the whole team is tired. Any one of them can step up.

Finch needs to make a defensive adjustment at half-time. The Hawks got way too many lobs at the rim and open corner 3s, there's no way the defense should be giving up both of those things.

They're scoring by hitting the easy shots, we're scoring by hitting the hard shots. Common sense tells me that we won't be able to sustain this level of shooting to win, we gotta create more easy points.
