This is pretty awesome. After all of these years, Flip has all three of his young studs in the all-star game. They didn't all get there on the same team but they made it. Wolves have really produced!

Just a further reminder that Thibs took all the careful ingredients Flip had been preparing, tossed it in a blender, chugged that crap like a freshman and then diarrheaed it all over our collective faces.

Dane Moore made the point that if Wiggins hadn’t been voted in as a starter, it’s likely he wouldn’t have made the team at all, so he cost somebody worthier a spot. He made the case that Edwards could have been that player.

Hopefully he gets in as an injury replacement.

There's a draft, right? Would be neat if they were on the same team.

To be fair here, most of us and the media thought this trade was a huge win for the Wolves on draft night, and we did end a long playoff drought and saw a brief respite of winning basketball. The GM move was sound, particularly getting CHI’s 1st back in the deal.

The errors were that we used LaVine (injured) instead of Wiggins, Jimmy wanting out, and getting zero out of picking Patton. At the time though, getting a player of Jimmy’s caliber, for one of those guys and a pick was a bargain.

If they end up on the same all-star team..might shed a tear. Might shed a few tears if Ant makes the injury replacement and all 4 of them are on the same team.

Fun fact; 4 current & former Wolves are all-stars this year..our "supposed to be" pick in Garland is an all-star as well

So i'm looking at the list of all star candidates & if Bron and Dray both can't go..Ant probably makes it after Dejounte Murray...or maybe he even makes it before Murray because our record?

Murray is averaging 20/8/9 that's pretty nuts
Ant is at 22/5/4

What if Flip had been the GM and McHale had been the coach all those years...

Man, the commentary about the team the second that all three are on the court together would immediately turn to **** on the Wolves org for a few minutes and thinking it through, it’s probably unavoidable regardless. It’d be fun for Jimmy, the three Flip Wolves, and Ant all to be on the same team.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

All three of them are on the same team! They play on team Durant and they have a chance to take down Team Lebron who has won every all-star game since he has been captain!

Wiggins has no business being in an all star game.

I still remember the critics ripping on Flip in this forum like it was yesterday…. he was blasted when he picked Lavine.

I remember that night. I think it was mostly because of Lavines reaction. Most of us here loved him by the end of summer league, one guy even had him as his sig from summer league.

People HATED the idea of LaVine most of predraft. A few supporters (me), but mostly negative.

I love it. I was a Zach fan on draft night hoping we'd pick him. I didn't have much hope because they rarely pick who I want them to except for Towns and Ant and Rubio. I was overjoyed when they took Zach. He's a beautiful looking basketball player with athleticism to burn. He reminded me of Kobe. It turns out he is a great guy personally and with the community.

I was sick the night they traded for Jimmy. He had just destroyed the Bulls locker room and I knew he'd be big trouble here. He was, no surprise.

So having all 3 together on the same all star team reminds me of what could have been. It should be a lot of fun. Then afterward, we get on with life and kick butt every game.

Can't wait for the 3 pt shooting contest.

Here's to you Flip!
