I guess Prince's incentives are now unattainable.
He's playoff eligible, but my guess is he gets no meaningful minutes.

I thought I read that after March 1st any player cut or released by a team cannot play in the postseason. Maybe it doesn’t apply to 10 day contracts?
Edit to update: it looks like there is a 10 day exception.

Depth move. We need someone in case Naz or GOD forbid KAT cannot play.

I like it. He showed he can be productive if needed. Hopefully he doesn’t play much because if he is then KAT is in foul trouble.
Good veteran depth. Though signing this late in the season for me is a little Too Close for Comfort…..last one I promise.

Good. He's not a total stiff, can rebound, score, pass and has good size.

Just confirmed what I was thinking. “The Moose is loose, so watch your caboose.”

Important, since Knight is not playoff eligible.
While everyone was freaking out, criticizing Gupta's checkers performance, Sachin was out here playing chess!

I Photoshopped together what Monroe might look like in a Timberwolves uniform.

He could've been if we converted him to a regular contract instead of signing Monroe. But we clearly thought Monroe was a better insurance policy than Knight.

Lucky. Gupta just saved his whole career.

James Johnson was cut by the Nets. He was productive for us last year but I don’t think we have another spot. I’d rather have Monroe anyway (but wouldn’t mind a bit more size/toughness)

Since Johnson was on a standard NBA contract, he can be signed by any team, but will not be eligible for the Playoffs.
