I hope it isn’t one of those games where 3 of our guys are 4-26 from 3.

Gotta pounce on them early and step on their necks. They’re a veteran team that went to the WCF and made a lot of noise when nobody expected them too. Can’t have the game be 101-101 with 2.5 min left.

I know it's only the play in and I shouldn't get too excited... but God it's good to have that pi next to our team in the standings

The atmosphere at Target Center will be otherworldly.

You cannot know before a game or any test the outcome. I always want to win, but sometimes in life things don't go your way.

But one thing that only depends of the players is the mentality, it's no a problem is Paul George's is playing, it's no a problem is Leonard is playing, it's no a problem is their **** moms are playing. You have to go out there with killer mentality and look for your way, if 3s are no going in, you have to penetrate, move the ball, extra effort.

And when the game is over, if you win perfect, but if you lose but have given everything, it's perfect too. What the players cannot afford is to play silly like little girls to nervous to play basket.

We are going to sweep the floor with them!

I hope they take care of business right away because I'm more scared of the Pelicans.

If Ant and Dlo show up and KAT has a strong game (no foul trouble,) I see us winning. If either takes the game off or cannot get going, I see us in trouble. Having MCD back is also quite nice as his defense and size give us options.

So what’s the plan? Double the hell out of PG and force Jackson, batum, Morris and co. To hit their shots? We have wing depth like ant, vandy, mcdaniels, prince, etc that we can always have a fresh body on PG.

I think the idea is to put Vanderbilt, Prince and McDaniels one on one versus Paul George. You can't throw doubles all the time at PG as he is too good of a passer and the team [Clippers] have tons of spacing/shooting.

I'm excited. I dont see Karl-Anthony Towns being slowed down in this game and expect a win where we get out to a big lead but Clippers claw there way back in as they always do.

I hope not..I hope they do not double or overhelp on the defense. Clippers have some pretty good 3 point shooters...doubling and overhelping will likely result in lot of open looks from 3 for Clippers. Also, PG can be bit streaky. I would rather put Vando or Jaden on PG.

With Powell back I am not sure that works. I don’t really know how Finch will approach it. On the one hand I would expect KAT to contain Zubac, but if we high wall we will be scrambling and giving them a ton of open 3s. Maybe some kind of zone.

I’m more than worried about this one they have beat us 3 out of 4 and have smoked us by 20+ twice if I’m not mistaken. That was WITHOUT PG. :banghead:
