Really a shame that Minnesota choked away that series, this Playoffs is more open than most.

Bless all these other teams though, drawing the attention from us onto their own choke jobs.

We could be entering a very open period generally in the NBA, perhaps we've finally chosen a good time to get good

This has to be completely deflating as a Suns fan. Where do they go from here? Tank?

yep and imo this will be the way in the future. I think 3 point shooting has kinda increased parity. You don't need 3-4 stars...you can build a contender with 2 stars (who can create their own shot) + solid complimentary pieces who can space the floor well and shoot not badly from 3. If you have a generational talent like Luka, then Mavs have shown you can probably build one with just one superstar if you surround him with right role players. Also, do not overpay role players who cannot create their own shot..that for me is another big lesson from this playoffs

Well wolves needed someone that could rebound and gm did not go and get that someone…

I was convinced the Suns would smoke through everybody. My God! This is shambles. The Bucks losing is a surprise too but there is no way in hell I thought Dallas would take out the Suns. I was scratching my head all season at how much they were winning, they are legit, I didn't believe but man, they got it going. I owe Jason Kidd an apology too, I thought he was terrible.

This should give us some more perspective. Some act like our series was a huge disaster, no, what the Suns just experienced is a disaster. This is their window, they were favored to be in the title picture and they got kicked out in round 2 to a lower seed. People, who want to ship out Towns for choking? Well, lots of stars have had games where they choked, are they trash too?

We got work to do but we are in a good position to do it. KAT isn't garbage, he can be better. Every team has struggles, only one will win. I really like where we are positioned. We can go up or down but we are in the mix for sure, we couldn't say that before for 90 percent of the last 18 years.

Cp3 is spent. Next year if he plays is going to be about a 30 game season since the smart thing would be to load manage the F out of him for the post season.

I would think he had a lot to do with Ayton being as effective as he is, in most games.

Phoenix has to decide if they want to give Ayton a max now. Tonight’s game did him zero favors, and they have to think long term of no more CP3 beyond this or next year.

I don’t think Phoenix tanks, but they fall back to the pack, especially if this is Paul’s last season. I don’t touch an Ayton max with a 10 foot pole

I like where we’re at too. Our only bad contract, dlo, is expiring. I doubt he’s moved but he needs to pull his head out of his ass.

We hold all of our picks and our franchise corners are still young. Find any defensive big that can start next to towns. That’s it.

Also I’d probably flirt with moving Pat to the bench for mcdaniels and slide ant to the 2.

Dlo/Jmac
Ant/PB/Nowell
Mcdaniels/Beas
Literally any defensive big that can grab rebounds/Vando
Kat/who cares

Problem is I don’t want wolves overpaying dlo again and being tied down to him.

The Dlo situation is tricky, not sure how to handle it. I don't think we max him though.

it’s pretty epic:

#1 seed
@ home
Best record in nba
Franchise record 64 wins
Booker’s fav two words: “Game 7”
Ayton (#1 overall pick in Luka draft) benched @17min & did not return.
Suns: 10pts in 2Q
57-27 is largest half time lead ever in a game 7
Suns fans already booing at the half
Luka 9/12FG Suns 10/41FG (@half)
Luka 27 Suns 27 (@half)
Luka 30 Suns 27 (3min into 3rd)
Luka 35 (3Q), Suns starters 37 (4Q)
Luka sat entire 4th Q & Mavs still won by 33
Suns were down by as many as 46pts
Suns: third w 60+ wins to miss Conf finals
Booker 3-14/0-4 11pts
Kartrashian curse
r/suns subreddit goes private

Once Middleton was out I figured the Bucks were done, just a matter of when.

Boston was too good to overcome at half strength.

Same. I have no idea what his market is, and as a average Joe, it’s easy for me to say yea I’ll make 22 million a year to play freaking bball.

If he doesn’t take something around that then whatever. We can use the rest to get a good big next to kat. Something he’s never had
