Never liked him because I thought he was only in the league due to nepotism. Last few years I kept hearing that he is a gym rat and a great locker room presence. Couldn’t be happier for his arrival.

Yeah someone doesn't become the No. 10 pick solely due to nepotism.

I wonder if Rivers can help in the locker room too, as a vet presence helping the guards with Beverley gone?

Real solid signing.
Assuming Knight will just be signed as the last big spot.

One of my main worries until now was that we were bit thin in guard rotation. Especially with DLo being injury prone, we needed more depth and Rivers is probably the best we could get in the current available FreeAgents on a vet min deal. I think we have done a good job of filling out the rest of the roster without much overpaying so far.

Knight is a two way, Minott probably a two way as well. I imagine our last spot will be another SG, because apparently we can never have enough.

Not a chance of that.
Keep in mind, Tim drafted him and had him in Denver. He wouldn't sign him if he thought he couldn't help.

Tim Connelly is a man of my liking.
Before we signed Slow Mo, I was actively hoping for we could get him somehow. And we did.
Same thing with Rivers, best available vet min depth PG for our needs, was really hoping we wouldn't get a one way flawed PGs (bledsoe, Dunn etc). Instead an all arounder who is skilled. And Rivers fits that bill.
Only deal Connelly hasn't made I wanted us to was TJ Warren, but alas its hard to compete with the allure of KD and Kyrie lol.

Are we at the max for roster spots?
Solid pick up.

He makes 13. Knight was extended a two way qualifying offer, and we have not signed Minott yet. Assume Minott and Knight are two ways and we have one spot left.

No complaints here.

This is a win-now pick up. It shows they want vets on the bench to get wins, rather than developmental projects.
