Just look at the matchups. Dort probably guards Dlo. SGA on Ant. Giddy on MCD. Poku on KAT. JRE on Gobert. I give us the advantage in at least 4 of those 5, and the size advantage in all 5. They will need to double on ANT, and KAT while keeping someone low to help JRE with Rudy. We’re gonna eat their lunch.

Gotta punch them in the mouth early. Can’t wait to see the depth and always 2 of kat/ant or dlo/Rudy against back ups.

Wolves fandom will meltdown if we lose this opening game.

Why even bring it up. It's not happening.

So I'm a Penrith Panthers fan in the NRL here in Australia (who just won back to back premierships) and they absolutely dominated the regular season. Now, the Panthers remind me of the Wolves a bit in the sense that even though we have a great team, have been on an upward trajectory, we are haunted by previous years of mediocrity/poor performances.

In saying that, towards the end of this season I became so overly confident in the Panthers domination that I became "smug" (to use a term thrown around by opposition supporters), and now I'm carrying that smugness into the Wolves...

We'll absolutely smash OKC with no mercy and go on to have a franchise record season, win the West, then bring home the championship for the first time!

I am THAT confident!

Expecting a clean W tonight from the Wolves. I’m just bummed that Chet is out for the season because I was looking forward to seeing how he held up against Rudy/KAT in this opener.

As a moderator, I am begging the Timberwolves to not choke. I don’t want to deal with the troll accounts baiting people after the loss.

It's going to be critical for the Wolves to take care of business the first 10 games of the season. Last year showed that losing early games to clearly inferior teams can be really damaging for playoff positioning. If Minnesota comes out of the gate strong, I think they have a decent chance at a top 4 seed.
