D-Lo isn't a PG. He is a subpar SG who should be regulated to, at best, a sixth man scorer.
Ant cannot attempt so many threes. This team would be a lot better if he/Towns would attack the paint.
McDaniels needs to assume more of a Vando role. He should not dribble or pass the ball.
Towns needs to attack the basketball more often.
Finch needs to keep Ant/D-lo on shorter leash. McL looks much better as a PG than D-lo.
I like the Rudy/Naz pairing better than I like the Towns/Rudy pairing.

That said, I trust Tim Connelly to make better decisions on trades etc than our previous front offices.

1. Last year Dlo averaged 7 APG and 2 TO per game. That is a PG. The problem is he shoots too much, isn’t hitting enough right now, is sometimes careless with the ball, and doesn’t play enough defense. I agree about benching him temporarily.

2. Ant is a better catch and shoot 3 point shooter. He needs to take fewer pull-ups and we need to run catch and shoot offense for him.

3. McDaniels is fine dribbling, he needs to be more aggressive on his attack and more methodical with his passing.

4. KAT needs to shoot 12-15 3s per game. He must not attack more as that will leave Rudy and Ant no space to operate inside.

5. MCL is a 3rd string PG because they don’t guard him on the perimeter and he is 2 of 14. He cannot play with Rudy, and frankly shouldn’t play unless someone is hurt. Sadly, we don’t have another PG at the moment, so move Nowell to starting PG, JMAC as backup PG, and Dlo as backup SG until he rehabilitates his game.

6. Towns Rudy is our best net rating pairing. You just like the bench rotation with Naz and Rudy more.

7. You are correct about a shorter leash. Also the starters should not begin the third quarter. They don’t do it well, so stagger them in.
