GAME THREAD: Twolves @ Portland

Post#1 » by TwolvesFanRome » Sat Dec 10, 2022 11:25 am

The victory against the Jazz is already history... now we have to give continuity in a difficult game against Portland. I'm curious to see what Edwards will do...

GO WOLVEEEEES!

Don't see Wolves winning this one for obvious reasons, especially, Portland's best players are their two guards. It Wolves do win, it will be a big statement game which I say they had finally turn the corner for this season (with or without Towns).

Soccer/Football is such a great sport to watch and write post at the same time :-)

This and the Jazz win would be big. Two good western conference teams who have been near the top of the standings. These would be great confidence boosters and show that we are doing something right. The team seems to be finding something, lets hope it continues and lets get a quality win tonight.

I keep saying it, but Naz Reid and Rudy Gobert should absolutely never share the floor.

Yep. I think so too.

Great soccer comment!

I enjoy watching soccer on TV. I just turn it on with 5 minutes left in the game when it's usually 1-0 or 0-0.

Yes, I don't get it either. Wolves really need to scramble to cover Lillard

Then you go to penalty kicks after OT. Which is like NBA going to shooting free throw to determine winner after 2OT period. So anticlimactic :D

Just kidding. France vs England was great

Spoiler:
Lillard is really annoying. I hope this clown retires already

Why post like this? Make the first point without calling him a "clown" or hoping for retirement. It's weird.

High-IQ player. His situational awareness is top-shelf.

Rudy Gobert has two fouls with two minutes left in the second. I don't see any world why Minnesota should sub Naz Reid in and not have Rudy Gobert exit the game to protect him from picking up a third.

Just a baffling decision from the coaching staff.

Giving up too many points. Playing a little too fast again. We need to foul less too. We were doing OK moving the feet then last second we stick our hands in the cookie jar

I'll say this, I wish we were doing a better job stopping these guys but its a world of difference with how we are playing right now and how we were playing a couple weeks ago and early season. We didn't look like an NBA team back then. We look one now. We look competent like we are actually trying to execute something we know how to do even if we cant always do it.
