Let's start with a minimus special, his summer league highlights from his rookie year.

I just remembered, Chris Finch and assistant Kevin Hanson have a history with him from their time in New Orleans.

Interesting. They cared less about Vando, Beas, and Conley.

I mean, I kinda get it because of the tank. I still think it's noteworthy.

This is his third team? Time for him to unleash his full potential as a wolf, and hopefully we sign him up for a nice cheap contract extension before he really blows up.

He'll be a RFA this summer. What would you honestly offer him as he hasn't shown much, besides what Klomp posted. Is he really worth keeping around?

Career stats
FG%: 39.8
3P%: 33.7
FT%: 72.1

By all accounts, he's not a good shooter.

FG% is obsolete and not an indicator of how good a shooter someone is.

NAW has the tools and has shown enough to think he can be a low-end rotation player [A guy you are happy giving 10-20 MPG in the Regular Season but don't want playing in the post-season] and if the Wolves can lock him into a longer, team friendly deal [assuming he keeps up his 40% 3P shooting and shows defensive potential] then the Wolves should do that.

Right now, it is wait and see if he can crack our weak wing rotation.

If he is a good defender, he could take Rivers' spot

I wouldn't even think about an offer until I see what he can do the next ~30 games.

I'd love it if Finch gave him the opportunity, but I'm afraid that barring injury Finch is going to stick with his guys (Rivers).

Right now, I want to see what Minott and NAW could do with regular minutes. They might not be ready this season, but I'd like to get enough sample size to see where they are at because there are scenarios where they could be rotation players next season.

Really scrounging, Klomp. First, it was summer league, and now, draft combine. How about something from the last year or so?

Re: The Nickeil Alexander-Walker (NAW) Thread

He’s in a difficult spot this season. His future is murky, and he’s not getting consistent playing time in order to build a lot of value. That being said, there’s a lot to like about Alexander-Walker’s game. At 6-foot-5, he’s a pure point guard, which matters in today’s NBA. He’s solid defensively. He’s a terrific rebounder for his size and is a very good passer. A lot of what will happen in his career will probably be determined by how far his jumper comes along.

“I can’t worry about next summer until it gets here,” Alexander-Walker said. “Nobody is promised tomorrow, so I think we all have to try and stay in the moment. I’m confident in myself and what I can do. I try to have a Kobe mentality on always being focused mentally. I have great agents that I put my trust in. So, I just want to come out and play hard whenever I have the chance.”

Very intrigued about NAW. Looks like he seems to have improved over the past year on both ends of the floor
