Game 5 - Nuggets vs Timberwolves

SloMo ruled out of game 5. We are effectively down to 6 players. Let's hope we look respectable for the game and call it a good season.

Losing Anderson is just another dagger we don't need. Was hoping he would get hot finally. If we win this game somehow, it would be legendary and Denver would have to start feeling some real pressure. Would be a big pain in the ass to have to come back to Minneapolis and try to finish us off with rejuvenated fans and Ant rolling.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

We just can't let foul trouble happen.

If by some miracle we got this to a game 6, I can't even imagine how loud the Minny crowd would be.

Also, FREE JOSH MINOTT! I can see his energy being crucial to this game alongside Rivers getting some PT.

We can't compete with only 6 players. Hopefully, we keep it close for at least 3 quarters.

Gosh forbid KAT would bring it…

We need a night like LAL where we find easy bucket and shot with a good % 3s...

Let's GO Wolves!!

What’s our bench? Rivers and prince? Knight might be called upon to spare a few min

Whatever. If NAW continues to hassle Murray, we let joker go off and “get his”, ant has another superstar game we should be in it

Kats gonna have to step it up even more without KA and can’t make stupid fouls like illegal screens or offensive charges

Even moreso, I think KAT needs to be willing to take more charges (and everyone else too) as well as not settle for contested jumpers. Good things have generally come from Ant driving the lane, and I'd like to see them push the issue and possibly get the Nuggets in foul trouble (specifically Jokic). KAT just has to be careful on his drives to not create charges (he just needs to pull up and drop a little floater rather than try to get to the rim for a layup).

Yeah, I'd rather give him some minutes instead of JMac and Nowell with the chance that he could be an X factor and provide a spark (also the fact that Denver definitely has not game planned for him).

Wolves have to jump out to a big lead and hope like hell they can hang on. The starters are gonna have to all go 40 minutes and they are not a well conditioned team. If they get down early it's over

I don't think the 5280 altitude is gonna help either and your starters going 38+ minutes leaves you prone to foul trouble (unless Scott Foster is true to his nature LOL).

Man the Nuggets forum is tumbleweeds. Just you and an admin chatting for 2 pages last game thread?

I suppose even if the Wolves lose tonight, at least there's people to talk about the team here.

I really wish Finch would give Minott a chance instead of playing Nowell/McLaughlin. Having somebody on the floor who has the ability to successfully guard Porter would be huge. Playing 3-guard lineups against the Nuggets seems like a recipe for a blowout.

Life doesn't revolve around JUST THIS FORUM (but I do hear ya). Our arena is ALWAYS packed.

I can't wait to see Minott on the offensive end. I wonder if he knows what how defensive schemes work and where to be on the court? There has to be a reason why he doesn't play.
