I’m curious who you think will emerge as our starting PG for 24-25?

Conley starts but will get equal minutes with Shake...

Depends on where we draft next year and what we do with towns, gobert, etc

Way too many factors, do we get lucky in the draft next season, does Conley resign on a cheap deal, do we have another injury plagued season and we trade Conley for a younger pg or even Towns, does Detroit waive Monte Morris during the season we pick him up and sign him to a long term contract, does the Towns an Gobert experiment work so well that we end up trading Naz Reid for our pg of the future? Right now I'm leaning that we resign Conley for 2 years on the cheap and he will start until the wheels come off.

My dream scenario is we trade up for Bronny. LeBron said as much that he'll sign wherever Bronny goes. So it'd be dope to get him or Bronny at point.

I will quit watching the Wolves from the day LeBron gets here until the day he leaves if they sign him.

C'mon man, seriously? There's no way we'd trade for him, so I figure if he does come here it would be on an MLE to play with his son for one year then he retires. As much as I dislike him, the immediate fanfare, and overall push would be great. We'd make the Finals unquestionably and win.

But I sincerely doubt he retires here or he might pull a Steve Francis and ask his son to beg for a trade to another franchise.

Mike Conley all day. I think he's good for 3 more years of hi quality ball. He's the perfect type PG for this Wolves team.

A 39 year-old that has historically missed 10-20 games every year and is a high 20 MPG player is you starter?

I would love Conley to finish his career here, but he should be the back-up as soon as next season.

You added a couple years. He’ll be 37.

A. I respect LeBron James and a lot of the things he's done. That doesn't mean I can stand him.

B. The media circus that would take place around the team would be sickening. It would turn into an absolute zoo.

C. Any success the wolves had would be solely attributed to LeBron. And we would get stuck listening to how he saved the franchise.

In order of likelihood…
1a.) NAW
1b.) Shake
2.) Conley
3.) someone we trade for
4.) someone we sign
5.) Ant
6.) SloMo
7.) J-Mac
8.) Wendell Moore
9.) Just Curious (have heard good things about him though)
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

Is it possible that your dislike of Lebron is irrational? What has he done to make you can't stand him?

Mike Conley Jr is far and away the best option among scenarios that are realistic.
Although he will have to take a big pay cut and every dollar of his salary would add to our luxury tax bill.

If we are running it back on the cheap, Milton or a vet min FA.

If we trade KAT, probably a player who is part of that salary filler.

If we were somehow able to dump Gobert for cap space, that opens up possibilities either through a Gobert trade or a big TPE,
likely taking back a negative value contract.
Say something insane like Gobert and a player we preselect for Washington with our 1st rounder next summer for a signed and traded Tyus Jones and cap relief from Washington.

Don't forget, a couple of guys in our nation's capital will be 2024 free agents or could be made available sooner.

Don't get me wrong I absolutely hate LeBrons personality. But I'd be a fool to say he wouldn't turn our current roster without subtracting any players into a championship squad immediately.

It's freaking amazing how great he still is. As for his personality I see nothing wrong with it.

I'd probably put the 24 1st round draftee somewhere in there too. Some of the early projections have a pretty decent number of PGs listed.
