Win the tempo battle, slow the 3s, we can win this.

The Hawks couldn't have played better last night. Most of their players scored in double digits. Should be a competitive game since they are on a back to back.

I hope Trae gets a steady dose of Jaden and NAW.

Overall, I think the Hawks are an average team. These are the teams we need to beat to show that we aren’t an average team too.

We are a better team than the Hawks and since they are on a back2Back we should win.

I am hoping that we continue to see the great defense coupled with Towns and Edwards really finding their rhythm, especially being able to attack the basket and get to the line versus taking tough jumpers.

Last time when we played ATL McDaniels got all favorable matchups Young/Bogdanovic etc. He scored like 10 points in first quarter. Also we need someone to defend backline of our defense.

I would bet on him playing given that choice. I really hope he is fully healthy and ready to go against Murray when we play Denver. Can he shut Murray down?

Not to get derailed on this Atlanta thread but I’d love for him to start on Murray but move off ball and let NAW get a healthy bit of the Murray matchup. Let Jaden take a lot of the passing lanes from Denver and make things harder.

If you’ve got Rudy ignoring AG and camping the paint, Naz or KAT on Joker, NAW on Murray and Jaden guarding MPJ it’d be a very good matchup. Especially if Ant can stay focused when in.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

I'm really looking forward to this game. ATL played very well vs Milwaukee last night but that was also a product of Lillard shooting like ass and still finding ways to integrate into the team. ATL did not look good in their first loss against Charlotte and had major issues defending.

Now that ATL earned a W and are on a B2B I expect its level to come down a bit, hopefully MIN is hungry to get this one because I think TWolves matchup pretty well.

Hawks starting SF De'Andre Hunter, did you know, has the worst VORP (-2.2) of the 2019 draft class ? He is being paid a handsome salary for being rated in that metric as a worse player than Sekou "who?" Doumbouya, former MIN TWolf Jarret Culver, and Cam "somehow still cashing checks" Reddish.
Cheers

I'm expecting some sub-lineups with both McDaniels and Alexander-Walker in the game, allowing McDaniels to guard the young, springy Johnson and NAW can follow Young around.

This feels like a matchup where Towns can hopefully get going a little more.

Having Jaden McDaniels back offensively is a God send.

Need to let KAT post up these smaller players. It's easy points for him.

Welcome back Jaden. Man almost break his hand on that awesome dunk. Great start so far.

Towns going down to the blocks - two post up scores already.
