Game 16 | MIN @ MEM

Post#1 » by Klomp » Sun Nov 26, 2023 6:45 pm

There has been a lot of doom and gloom feelings over the past few days, it even got to me somewhat. But I looked at the standings this morning and we're still in first place. It's tight, but this is an opportunity this week to take care of our business.

Trap game. They may be down a ton of players, but winning in Memphis is never easy.
They are going to be desperate for their 1st home win and Taylor Jenkins coaches circles around Chris FInch.

Grizzlies go with a big starting frontcourt of Aldama, Jackson, Biyombo. May get the Reid, Towns, Gobert lineup tonight...

I don't know why. I am bummed about a bad loss and now making it really hard for us to win the in season tournament. I want to win that thing and think we can. Other than that, I don't really care about the loss too much. We aren't going to win every game. We aren't a perfect team, I don't think we are the best team in the NBA. I'm slightly worried we may have some big holes but I don't think that game exposed anything. Now if we start dropping games left and right or look bad for a few games, then I'll start feeling the doom and gloom, one loss isn't enough to make me feel that though.

Respect to Troy Brown Jr. Been sitting on the bench all year, no complaints and has played very productive minutes.

That was a bad call. The guy slid right in front of him.

Troy Brown is a good role player for us. Hopefully he gets consistent minutes once Jaden comes back

True but he is so careless though. Like he had a couple of good looks at the 3 point line but he wants to drive it to an obvious miss there

They have never had an idea how to block out. KG included. I would have thought Rudy a block out monster but not really.

Well, we're taking care of business as we should. Its still early. We've pissed away 18 pt leads way too often in the past.
We'll see.

These officials have their heads up their butts. Byambo has his arm hooked over Rudy's and Rudy gets the foul.

You better get Garza in there. Miller would look good too.

I actually did see Towns box out earlier today and was impressed.
