Really like this. Let him play behind and learn from a perfect mentor. Guy can really score and is dynamic.

Our PG of the future, please improve on defense and be our Daaron Fox. You can’t go wrong with Kentucky guards..half of them become all stars, so I like the odds.

He gives me Tyrese Maxey vibes.

We all know a ton of Kentucky players have excelled in the NBA (and yes I know he could end up being a Tyty Washington or Tyler Ulis)

I'm very excited. Elite ball handler with speed that kills, when's the last time we had that? Not to mention he shot 44% from 3.

Can't believe we got the guy I wanted the most in this draft

He’s small; but in year one, he may be the best scorer in this draft. Measures in at 6’1” 164 lbs with a sub 8’ standing reach. He won’t be able to guard anyone next year, but I think he’ll average 12-15 points off the bench. Hopefully he can bulk up a bit, like Garland did, and become a near average defender by the end of Conley’s extension.

I like Sheppard more than Dillingham but no reason both can’t be good. Kentucky guards have a history of outperforming their college production. He’s a decent passer too.

Comps on downside, if he never guards or adapts to being a full time PG, is Lou Williams bench scorer. Garland is a high end comp.

We’ll see.

This guy has scoring ability that plain can't be taught. His rock bottom floor is a deadly 6th man off the bench. Some question whether he'll be able to figure out when to score and when to play make, but he's got 2 years of Mike to learn from and nobody questions that he can be a great playmaker when he gets it in his head.

He'll never be great defensively but we won't need him to be, especially right away.

I can't tell you all how brilliant of a move I think this is by TC. This is exactly what this team needed.

Was not on my radar, and I wish he was a little bigger...I was all-in on Collier. I will do a little more digging, but I FREAKING LOVE the aggressive move up!

Don't know much about his game but love the swing moving up into the top ten to land a possible long term starting PG. Also some of the comps to his game are Lou Williams. I know some fans might hate that but if he could turn out to be a similar player that would be fine with me as Sweet Lou was a bucket getter off the bench and multiple time 6th man of the year.

Edwards,Dillingham,Reid,McDaniels,NAW...ect bunch of young guns on the squad.

Interesting fact, we could not have made this trade once we went over the 2nd apron. That pick would be locked under the 7 year rule. I don’t know enough about these guys to know if the move was good or bad, but I will say it was BOLD!

Continuity matters in sports, and if TC has that mindset of build it now and adjust it later he is definitely seeking NBA titles in the Ant prime.

Spectacular. To me, Dillingham seems like the most talented player in the draft pound for pound. Of course, it's a risky move, but he has tremendous upside. That being said, it seems to me that the work is incomplete. The luxury to be paid with this acquisition is brutal. Watch out, more trades might be coming. And surely, some tonight.
