Undrafted players are succeeding more and more...

Guys that might go undrafted you would want brought in for summer league..

Quinten Post BC - 7'+ 250lb+ think bigger, better defensive Garza and better passer.

For context are we talking two way guys, or actual roster spots?

I think 2 way is the expectation with roster spot being if everything hits....if that makes sense

Like I think Chomche gets drafted, but if he doesn't, wolves should be all over that dude right away

I agree, I just wanted to make it clear for the purposes of the thread. It is also worth mentioning that last year with Clark injured for the whole season, we only had 2 two ways and a red shirt. This year Garza has aged out, and Nix may be back, but it’s far from certain. So essentially we have two wide open slots. That said, one might go to a 2nd round draft pick depending on what move we make.

Absolutely. Reality is, it gives them some flexibility to do a draft and stash in Iowa for a year - think project bigman, or grab a point guard they like to develop in Iowa and be ready to come be a backup in a year or two.

Looking like this might be a bigger target than initially thought. And by that I mean the UDFA class.

Hukporti and Dante could also be guys to watch....more athletic than Post, but probably higher ceilings as a result.

Any forwards people watching?

Yeah should be some bigs left either at 53 or as UDFA's worth a two way spot including the 3 guys you mentioned.
Also Reaves SG from Kentucky.

Absolutely. I had similar thoughts about Post, but put it in the draft thread months ago because we didn't have an UDFA thread. Get him on the Summer League squad and see if he can earn a two-way spot. Garza's a great story, but it's probably time both sides move on.

We might be a victim of our own success when it comes to UDFAs this year.

I'd think if I'm hanging onto my NBA dreams by a thread, I'd rather go somewhere with a good chance to play - even if its a terrible team.

Jesus I forgot it started at 3:00. Can't believe I missed the second round. Although it doesn't sound like I missed much

Meh. He's got good length at least for a big.
Thanks for scoop though.

Where are my fellow Dutch posters?!

Vecenie ranked him at 70, if anyone cares. Unless Garza signs standard, probably the end of Luka's run since it'sdoubtful they'd have two centers on two-ways.

Seems like the "Iowa Gobert"

From Vecenie (ranked him 70th):
It’s very difficult to find players this big who are also this athletic. Edwards measured in at 6-11 1/2 without shoes at the combine with a 7-5 wingspan. That gives him an enormous 9-3 standing reach. On top of that, he tested among the best 7-footers ever. He had a 35.5-inch vertical leap and tested solidly for a big man in the lane agility drill.
