GAME 22: Wolves @ Golden State Doves
The Warriors will host the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight for two consecutive games at Chase Center.
Curry, Green, and Gary Payton the 2nd are probable.
Andrew Wiggins is questionable.
Joe Ingles is unfortunately OUT.
After being Olympic teammates this offseason, Stephen Curry's impact has been glaring in Timberwolves rising star Anthony Edwards' increased 3-point volume with the Minnesota Timberwolves this season. Edwards is attempting a career-high 10.6 3-pointers per game and has made the most total threes in the league this season (94). Among players attempting at least 10 threes per game, Edwards (42.3 3PT%) and Curry (41.9 3PT%) are joined by Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (42.0 3PT%) as the only players shooting over 40 percent from behind the arc.
Curry's volume 3-point shooting and efficiency has revolutionized the game and changed the shot diet for the next generation of stars. Edwards has firmly established himself amongst that elite next-gen group.
These two 3 point sharpshooters will go toe to toe in a season defining game. The warriors had lost 5 straight games before their strong showing last night against the 'surprise of the league' Houston Rockets.
The Wolves, with their backs against the wall, have appeared to as of late, stick to their guns of what brought them success last season. Play Defense.
The Wolves are currently 1-point favorites on the road. Can they continue a trend of ball movement, tossing egos to the side, and focus on defense against these wily veterans? Can Rudy and Draymond play nice in front of the national audience of espn? We are about to find out.

Re: GAME 22: Wolves @ Dubs
I can't believe GSW rested Curry last night for today's game. Wiggins despite scoring 23pt with 9 rebounds, looked like he was laboring out there all night last night, so I doubt he will plays tonight. I fully expect a friend body slam between Gobert and Green so fully expect we make national headlines again

Draymond dodging Rudy. Or as ESPN would put it ..
“What a team player to be willing to come off the bench!”

Looks like DDV is developing some chemistry with Gobert. Love it.

One of a handful of teams we can get away with Naz playing center.

Small ball has always been a myth. A fad. Surely not one to last.

Are the Wolves finally turning into a team? I'm seeing much better ball movement and defense.

He's been bad tonight. Ball hogging and making passes out late. You can see things with his body language/effort/interaction with teammates that are strange.. yet in his mind, he has been an integral part of why we are up. Re-watch the game and he has played horrendously.

Good effort so far, specially on the defensive part. Offense is still having up and down specially when Randle, ANT are too slow to pass the ball.

What in God’s name has happened to Ant. Did he forget how to play offense as part of a team or does he just not give a ****. He is either jacking up shots with a high degree of difficulty removed from the flow of the offense, or driving into traffic and kicking out for a reset with much less time on the shot clock. We would score more and probably defend better without him than with him. Randle has his own issues but Ant is supposed to be the best player on the team, and hasn’t been for a while now.

A little leaky towards the end of 2nd qtr but glad we are up 10. Just need a couple more runs in the 2nd half. Overall decent efforts. Ant needs to keep passing out of the triple team and DDV, please don't drive any where near the basket.

At least he is passing the ball a little more.

I don't see the teamwork at all. As Perkins stated we should be up by 20. We will regress if these clowns cannot work as a cohesive unit.

Let's just hope Randle doesn't cost us the game. Not a good start 3rd qtr
Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
