I hear people blame Ant, I hear people blame Finch.

It's a combination of the two. Ant is young. He has bravado and unlimited confidence. He wants to take almost every shot. Finch is a player's coach. He coaches in a way that enables his players to play with confidence.
Sometimes the shots go in. Sometimes they don't.

Voted both equal. Obviously ant is making the poor decisions, but Finch doesn't have the accountability dialed in when mistakes are made. Yes, too much of a players coach, in an overall net negative way.
There is a balance that he hasn’t figured out..

Both for me. For advantage on Finch. ANT for not always listening and Finch for not managing well.

Ant is too willing to take bad shots, Finch is too willing to draw up poor plays and enable Ant to take bad shots. But the other factor is what happens in the 3-5 minutes before those bad shots. When the offense is flowing and the ball is moving guys stay in rhythm. When Ant, or Julius, or especially Ant and Julius go full ISO/Hero mode, then guys like Jaden, Naz, Mike, NAW, DDV all get out of rhythm. So at that point when they do get a semi open or open mid range or deep ball, they are less likely to make it. This in turn gives Ant or Julius the internal confirmation that they don’t need to pass or cannot trust their teammates to make shots.
Other teams fall back on well rehearsed actions and schemes. These make end of game (last 3-5 minutes,) more predictable, but also more reliable. Our method is less predictable (they know Ant wants to shoot, but they don’t how that is going to happen or from where,) but it is also more prone to turnovers, miscommunications, poor shot selection, poor ball movement, and overall deflating moments. Finch had these flaws in 21/22 and has not learned from them. I didn’t even talk about ridged rotations, poor timeouts, ect… Finch needs to go, and the new coach needs to hold Ant accountable.
