When Steph is back, I want the whole team to punish Curry in every possible matchups relentlessly. Give him no break.

This is how it reads in one article. Minimum of missing games 2-3-4 good chance of missing the rest of the series.

Stephen Curry injury update: timetable for Warriors star return revealed

Stephen Curry suffered an injury to his hamstring during Game 1 of the series vs. Minnesota Timberwolves.

Injury didn't look good, and it certainly isn't, as Curry will have to miss some games.

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Curry will be sidelined "at least a week" with a hamstring injury.

There is no clear timetable for his return so he could be out for even more time, but now it's official that he will miss Games 2, 3 and 4 of the series.

An exact return will be based on how their All-NBA guard responds to rehab with his first muscle strain.

And who "should" be the one to prepare a team, especially with that many days between games?

Everyone. Plenty of blame to go around.

There is no excuse for professional athletes who are paid millions of dollars to not be ready for a conference semi-finals game.

Finch of course, some here are quick to give Finch praise when they win games and blame the players when they lose and play like ****.

I think all the players ( Except ANT..) know they play like **** at game 1. But to defend ANT, he play well in defense, and try to impact the game which he did pretty well in second half. His start was not good but overall he still was the best player for us. Others were garbage. Even Rudy start strong and disappear.
Let's see how we handle game 2 . Will be a battle for sure. Yes they don't have Steph but they remain a very smart and experiences team.
For the shooting part, almost all teams struggle in PO , more intensity, more defense... tonight Knicks and Boston shoot really bad as well ( 2 in a row for Boston.). When shoot don't fall, we have to find a way to win as we do game 5 with LA.

Ant sucked in 1st half. Sometime you just have to hold on until things turn. Down 10 is still manageable. I feel like Wolves gave up or got too tense and let it slip to 20 after 3qtr. Like golf, just keep scramble to a boggy instead take a triple. You could end up birdie the last two holes to win.

I will also challenge Finch and the coaching staff to bring a better offensive game plan. We need to do something effective ( not force 3s) when the 3s are not going in. I didn't feel we were prepared to deal with GSW's style of defense.

Totally agree. What i dislike with Finch sometimes is that he come with a plan, but is unable to make any adjustment when players struggle to hit shoot. Mike say exactly the same : We were not ready to play, you can't play only physical against such a smart team, we have to be much smarter.

Hopefully coaching staff adjust and come well prepared this time.

There are far more people here who are the reverse of that.

Tomorrow will be a real test. They play without Steph but have plenty of weapons, Jimmy, Hield ( A top 20 3 scorer in NBA history) , Dray, elite defense...we have to come with the same intensity we play the first round, ball movement, no stupid Turn Over, exploiting miss match. IF we do that and 3 don't fall well, we still have a chance to win.

It's nerves/choking causing our 3 point shooting woes. We are so nervous/tight. We aren't really shooting them. We're just throwing them in the direction of the basket and hoping they go in.

I'm not sure I buy that. Our best 3 point shooting game of the playoffs was the first game against the Lakers, I don't know why we'd be tighter against the Warriors.

I thought the Warriors were playing tough defense. We missed some open ones, but a lot of it was good defense. We also weren't making good decisions or having crisp ball movement. We need to be sharper all around.

Outside of Naz, the team shot 2-19 on what is considered open 3 pointers, meaning at least 4 feet of empty space between the shooter and nearest defender. Eventually those shots will drop. My bigger issue is the rebounding and effort. A team as small as the Warriors should not have a +10 rebounding advantage over us, and they absolutely shouldn't be getting 18 offensive rebounds. Naz, Randle, and Jaden need to be better on the glass and the defensive intensity needs to be higher.

Absolutely need to punch them in the mouth and dominate this game. No steph gives us a huge opportunity in the series.

Our offense hurt us so much game 1. It looked like old Wolves, missing a bunch of 3s, layups, and dumb turnovers.

Such a physical series, Finch might be wise to use some TSJ, Clark, especially if Naw continues to struggle and GS is playing 13 dudes.
