They didn't take much time, they must've had this pick locked and loaded

Hmm, thought Kaspar would be nice, but I can see the future fit here.

nobody who was drafted is going to play on this team next year
JB has rare/top physical tools to work with

Drafting a project big man on a team on the edge of real success is odd. I wonder if those two picks from Brooklyn are coming here?

Very good measurables, good athlete, really raw. Hes only been playing basketball 4 seasons so there's a lot for him to learn. Basically a perfect situation for him behind fellow Frenchman Rudy. Still only 18. Anyone we pick wasn't going to play this season anyway with us having 10 guys already needing minutes.
I like the pick and lot. We mightve been able to move back a bit, but if they liked him then why mess around and miss your guy.

He’s already a seven footer (in shoes) with plus wingspan. He’s going to be good defensively. Offense? Nothing but a lob threat at the moment, but he’s only been playing 3-4 years.

Is this to combat Wemby and Chet in the future when they’re expected to takeover?

https://www.nba.com/stats/draft/combine-anthro6'11' w/o shoes. He's a legit 7 footer. And agility of a small foward.

I feel like if Connelly liked a raw prospect this much that’s a good thing. Can’t say I know a lot about him, but intrigued. Feel like 31 is the high floor pick.
Tim Duncan started playing basketball at 14 too…just saying.
