I know we got some Lynx fans in here. Lynx just dominated the Liberty and have improved to 27-5. Team is looking pretty good and I think our new additions have been great pick ups. I am rapidly becoming a Carrington fan.

A few of us post in the WNBA thread. There are a bunch of really solid posters from various teams over there.

Both teams were missing their best players today so I don’t know how reflective it would be of a playoff matchup, but it’s looking like the Lynx are pretty close to a lock for the number one seed.

I like our chances, I think we match up well and the extra depth is really going to give us a boost. Would be another great finals.

I said it the day of the trade, trading for Dijonai has the potential to be a Sylvia Fowles-like addition. One week in, I think it has lived up to that kind of hype.

She is so talented, she filled an area of need, and she fits in with the team's defensive culture. Such a great trade!

Reminder: We have Chicago's first round pick in next year's draft, which looks to be a Top 3 pick at worst.

The Lynx are 27-5 and have a 6.5 game lead on top of the WNBA standings.

Gonna say it again, Minnesota sports fans, especially Wolves fans, who are not watching the Lynx are really missing out

I think a very large % of the Lynx success is due to Cheryl Reeves. She's the constant. We did luck into Sylvia Fowles, but Maya Moore simply quit in the prime of her career and through it all the Lynx have remained contenders.

She is honestly probably the Gregg Popovich of the WNBA.

Next season she will likely pass Mike Thibault (whose son is on her staff) for the all-time career wins record. It's 379, and Cheryl sits at 357 right now with 12 games to play this season.

Watch few games and they play well. Much more consistent then New York. But my heart still go for the the team GSW as there is a lot of French girls playing there :).

After getting hosed last season, it would be nice to see the Lynx bounce back and win another title!

Hopefully Courtney can redeem herself, man she was horrific ( as well as the refs) in that game 5.
