Happy about this, that's a really good move and they will have the ability to convert that two way to a regular minimum salary deal if they so choose.
A bit surprised Juzang signed an exhibit 10 in the first place but he must have been willing to be on a 2 way then I guess.

We will have 2 guys on 2-ways who are playable if injuries hit with Juzang and Freeman and one developmental project in Zikarsky.

Now go find a real veteran backup PG after camp cuts are done to replace Dillingham SR, I mean Bones Hyland.

Cam Payne seems like the obvious choice at this point.

 You made me laugh with Dillingham Sr. As for Freeman I don't see him as being playable if injuries hit.

It is worth noting. Freeman did play in 22 games (including 1 start) for a pretty good Indiana team last year. He might not be great, but he should at least be playable in case of emergency. I think he is not far behind Leonard Miller -- if not even with or possibly better -- if that means anything.

My personal opinion is that Miller just gets things done quietly and people fail to notice. He's underrated.

IMO this is exactly definition of Freeman: low profile, high effort, highly efficient, mistake free comboforward.

I didn't watch any of the pre-season games, but from looking at the box scores and not hearing any buzz around him, it seems like Newton didn't have a very good pre-season.

I would agree with that. I also believe his spot kinda got usurped by Bones Hyland. And then Johnny performing like he did made it a pretty easy decision.

Freeman was an absolute machine when it came to rebounding in college.
I think he's adjusting to trying to be an NBA stretch big.
But he seems to bring a lot of IQ and energy with functional size and those are the kind of players I have a soft spot for.

For what it's worth I would not be surprised if Johnny Juzang approaches the games played limit for 2 way players even without any injuries.
He's the kind of guy you sub in for a shot at the end of the half or if you need 3 point shooting trailing late in a game.
If Jaylen Clark struggles offensively i see an ongoing battle between those 2 guys for minutes.

I don't think Clark will be an offensive machine, but I don't think he will struggle much. He's got a solid 3 point shot and draws a lot of fouls. Should be OK on O and a terror on D.
