OT-Minnesota Gophers Vs. Indiana Hoosiers

This is Tubby's first chance at a HUGE win with our Gophers...
Game is on ESPN at 8:00 central
VS
Lawrence McKenzie will prolly guard Mr. Gordon (and as I witnessed last year when he guarded Mike Conley, when focused, McKenzie is a stud...
VS
Dan Coleman shouldn't have too many problems with D.J. White, but if he does Tollackson could provide some added muscle....
Spencer Tollackson, Al Nolen, Blake Hoffarber and Damien Johnson (my personal fav.) all will have huge impacts on the game as well...
Indiana is ranked #9, but after a big scare from Illinois on Sunday Hoosier fans are worried about this game.
This could easily be a blow out if the Gophs haven't established a winning attitude yet. If we can play with them in the first couple minutes and realize that they are not super human, we could pull this game off. We are a very deep team and I think we could tire out the Hoosiers by throwing 10 guys down their throats...Hopefully this will be a good game...

I'll be leaving for the game in a little over 3 hours, I'm pretty pumped. The Barn was rocking for the Northwestern game, this should be even better.
A couple discrepancies with your report, though. Conley did whatever he wanted to with any of the Gopher guards at the barn last year. 3-4 from the field, 10 assists, 5 steals, and only 1 TO. McKenzie went nuts on the offensive end, with 22-10-5, but nobody impeded Conley in the slightest that game. Conley completely controlled the perimeter and pace of the game, Oden controlled the paint. I'd expect to see Lawrence Westbrook on Gordon for the start of the game, with a little McKenzie and some Al Nolen mixed in later.
As for Tollackson, he'll give the Gophers good footwork, some nice passing and some emotion, but next to nothing in the muscle department. He has slimmed down considerably this year, and can actually get out on the break, which is nice to see.
Either way, I'm pumped to see the Gophs tonight. I don't think it'll be the drubbing that the first Minnesota-Indiana game I went to was (Gophers beat Bobby Knight and the Hoosiers by 50), but it should be a good game.

I'll predict 30 points for Gordon, 17 rebounds for DJ White, Indiana by 14

I'm very impressed with the way this Gopher team has played so far. Now just wait until all those recruits come in next year.

As much as it pains me, I'll be pulling for the Gophers tonight, so there will be only one undefeated team in the Big 10.

They said that Big Ten coaches were scared when they heard that Minnesota signed Tubby Smith.
Now I see why.

Man, I hate jerseys that don't have names on the back.

Why were the coaches sacred?

Name on the front is far more important than the name on the back.
