Bucher: Minnesota a darkhorse for McGrady
Said that on ESPNews a little while ago. McCants/Ratliff and a #1 pick would be the start. most likely this would never happen but i guess he said Taylor would be intrigued with putting McGrady with Jefferson and he would sell tickets.

If it is our pick this year it is not worth it. Any other pick and it would a great deal.
Foye/Brewer/McGrady/Jefferson/Jordan
It would not allow us to resign anyone this summer (i think), but with that starting line up I think that Jaric, Walker, Buckner, and Madsen would be a good enough bench.
*If he didn't work out here we could always trade him..

I would trade them this years pick for McGrady. But only if we send Walker and Jaric with it. Rockets would decline of course.
*Who else do you think would be involved in the trade from espn, the OP makes it seem like there would be more players leaving here. But who? If it were someone like Brewer they would have mentioned it. Maybe Walker? We might as well throw in Smith, Gomes, Telfair, and Green since I don't think we would have any money to resign them.

TMac is only 28,
but he is the 9th highest paid player in the league
but he is 1 year shorter than Jaric's contract
but he is injuried often.
If we do not give up Al/Brewer/Foye/Our 1st I am up for it. Considering his contract and his injury history I think McCants+Theo+Jaric+Miami's pick should be more than enough
But it is Bucher, so it probably came to him on the crapper
I need more proof of this

Walker would be stupid. His contract is more appealing than T-mac.
Unless we sent Jaric+Walker+Green+1st.
But then I would still be against sending our 1st overall. WIth his injury history I think Tmas is simply not worth that kind of pick.

I guess you're right. I probably shouldn't use 2k8 as a reliable source.

Does anyone have a link?
Miami+boston pick would be fine as long as it is Green not McCants and we do not move our first in either year.
Mia+Bos+jaric+(walker or theo) for T-mac

Yea right.
We better not do this. Maybe if it's for Green and not this years first but I still dont know about that. McGrady is damaged goods. He is habitually hurt and is looking like he might reach early retirement.
I like T-mac but I don't like this deal.

If it is Green+Jaric+theo+ either Miami/bos
then do you do it? In the very least Tmac has a year less than Jaric on his contract.
His back has not bothered him much this year, it is a different injury. If we get a core of T-mac/Foye/Brewer/Al+top4 pick we could really shake some things up. And TMac is only 28.

Green is from houston also. So I would think he would make more sense in a deal/.

From what I hear the back is not a concern anymore. It was an unrelated injury. Not sure.

HAHA, I don't want McGrady. He's injured more than anyone in the league. I'd do that deal IF it's not this year's pick and for another Superstar, just not someone who is constantly injured. Maybe some other team that's looking to deal a SF or C or PG. Marion, Amare, Nash anyone? Jk, but Pau Gasol is being rumored, and I'd take that deal for Gasol as well.
"Dude, all I am saying is we already have a starting RB, his name is Chester Taylor. Besides AP isn't that good anyways. I hope we draft McFadden." --Me after he broke the record.
