Who would produce more wins?

Talking strictly the amount of win in this season. With no eye on the future, assuming we were in a win-now mode.
Who would have provided more wins had he been healthy?
Randy Foye?:
Foye/Telfair
McCants/Foye/Jaric
Gomes/Brewer
Craig/Walker
Al/Richard/Doleac
or
Theo Ratliff?:
Telfair/Jaric
McCants/Jaric
Gomes/Brewer/Walker
Al/Craig/Walker
Ratliff/Richard/Doleac

This was a very very very difficult pick for me to make. As much as we could have used Theo's defensive presence in games against those tough centers, I think that Foye would have helped us to get more wins. So many times we blew fourth quarter leads, and with Randy's history of being big in the fourth quarter I think that he would've helped us keep the flow going, and lead us to a few more victories. Don't get me wrong, I wish Theo was back as much as everyone, but I think Foye is are game changer and want him back even more.

Foye would have been more likely to help us out during the string of fourth quarter collapses.

This is really a tough question, but I suspect the vote will be overwhelmingly Foye, since he's a better player. The question though is about more than that. Foye > Ratliff, but how much better is Al Jefferson and Craig Smith if Ratliff, and not Foye is on the floor? I think we need Foye the scorer, but he's not making players better .. at least he wasn't last year. I voted for Foye by a marrow margin.

It's tough. I know what Theo can do when Healthy. All I really know about Foye is still based on potential.

Kudos for coming up with a poll question that really made me think. I agree with the others that Foye gets a slight edge, mainly for his fourth quarter play.

If he is going to be the pg for this team I think hes going to have to develop the ability to. I don't think we can really gauge him off last year being he was a rook and KG was the one making the other four on the floor better.

probably Foye. Ratliff gives nice defense and shotblocking, but he's weak on the glass. Foye is an all around upgrade.

This is a nice question. Theo would move Al to the 4 as well as help on defense and rebounding. Foye would help the scoring and help with the 4th quarter plays.
Good question

I'll answer my own question now that many people have had a chance to weigh in...
I actually am going against the grain on this one, and it has less to do with Foye then the adequate job that Telfair/Jaric/McCants have been doing as guards. I think our defense is the biggest problem we've had this season and by adding a healthy player of Theo's quality our whole defense becomes exceptionally better...
Having fourth quarter Foye on this team is definitely gonna be fun though.

Interesting question. My first thought was to go with Theo for the reason you just stated (interior defense and good play from Bassy/Jaric/McCants) but ultimately I think Foye's impact would be bigger just based on the amount of time he would spend on the floor. I also think Foye because he began to embrace the leadership role on this team over the summer and him being the floor general would have the team playing more inspired ball.
Your right though that I can't wait to watch Foye come late in the games.

I felt this question was a lot closer than the vote showed...I guess we're all a buncha homers lol...
