OK Seattle fan here it looks like Minny, Miami and Seattle are neck and neck coming down the stretch the second half of the season for the number one pick in the draft.
You have the number one pick who are you taking?
You land the number two pick Beasley is off the board who are you taking.
You land the number three pick Beasley and Rose are off the board who are you taking?
Just trying to find out other teams needs. Getting a feel for the draft.

And you're not likely to find a consensus opinion so I'm afraid you're not going to get any real help.
I don't think I could even offer my own opinion as to who the Wolves should draft if they had the #1 pick in the draft. There is still a lot of college ball to be played this season.

With the 4th pick in the 2008 NBA draft the Minnesota Timberwolves select Roy Hibbert
-Mchale likes winners
-Mchale likes upperclassmen
-McHale likes east coast players
-He fits a serious need
-he is a good character guy with a high BBIQ
(I have positives for him, but I am just giving the reason's McHale will pick him)

I think Jordan stays another year. He has done nothing to secure a top 5 pick and hopefully someone advises him to stay and grow as a player.
Also if Jordan gets the "young potential" pass, why is Hibbert considered to have no potential? Hibbert hardly played basketball before college and is only 19months older than Jordan.

You know why, people are scared about Hibbert's lack of agility/conditioning/athleticism/insert random physical measurable. Should that matter? idk. Without roster moves, I think people would have a hard time justifying passing on Hibbert at #4 or #5 in favor of a guard - and, if Smith and Gomes are brought back, it's equally hard to justify passing on him in favor of a forward.

I can answer all the questions...
1. Jordan
2. Jordan
3. Jordan

the only way we draft Jordan is if we can get a vet now that will start for the next couple years and we can give the time Jordan WILL NEED to reach his potential. He will be hard to pass up if he is there. Guys like Hibbert and Hardin will be able to come in right now and produce.
Vet (trade) / Jordan
Jefferson / Richard
Brewer / Gomes
McCants / Jaric
Foye / Telfair
problem is there is no clear cut answer. Rose would be great, but we have to see how foye handles the job and/or if he can be effective as a smaller SG.
it is debatable that Beasley is a legit SF, probably fits best as a PF, plus the attitude concerns (whether its legit or not)
Jordan is really not ready and should go back for 1 more year.
Donte Green would fit well as a Rashard lewis type big SF. we could move brewer to SG and have a brewer, greene, mccants rotation at sf/sg.
or we can just draft hibbert who can come in and contibute immediately.
idk.

Look at the numbers Jordan is putting up in conference this year...if he declares, that's a horrible, horrible mistake. Just like Thabeet last year made the decision to stay in school (and probably should again, but look how much he benefited from doing so) Jordan should this year.
I'm not sold on Hibbert, either, though.
