Bucher says Marc Gasol traded, not to expect him in Memphis

I'm not really sure what he means, or how draft rights really work. Any chance we could snipe his rights?

uh...Marc Gasol never signed a contact...he doesn't affect the numbers salary-wise in any way. Memphis HAD to have asked for him, no other reason he would be in there.

Interesting stuff. McKie was signed just to give them another expiring. So they'll have Mark Gasol's rights to make the money work (which I don't quite get), but he'll probably never play there.

Also Memphis hemoraging money. Sounds like a few more deals might be in the works.

Wasn't that long ago that they were considered a young team on the rise.

It doesn't. Unsigned draft rights = 0 salary.
