Keys to the game
Image

We need a very adrenaline filled game by our players. KG is their defense anchor and he will not be playing tonight; he wants to play badly, but it would aggravate his injury. Less than 15 TO, excellent guard play from Telfair, and Jefferson having a career game should get us the win. Our defense was good on them last time; they also seemed out of sync.

The crowd should be full tonight; feed off of them and hopefully we can get this W.

I can already imagine what the play-by-play announcers will say:

"5 seconds to play, Minnesota 110, Boston 113. Jaric inbounds it to Walker... Walkers shoots a 4... GOT IT!!! Antoine Walker wins the game with an amazing 4-point shot! Minnesota wins 114-113! Oh, yes, Antoine loves to shoot the 4!"

Antoine after hitting the shot:

"The 4 is coming to a town near you, baby!"

Color commentator:

"Well, I thought there are no 4's, but Antoine yet again proved me wrong."

basti, just go to espn360.com if you don't have espn. They show every ESPN game live that is on that day.

Not sure you are a "we" I thought you spend equal time on the boston board? That makes you Board Bi. Not sure I feel comfortable with you making the game thread. Whose board you gonna post on? Who you gonna cheer for?

Minny might take this one, especially if KG isn't playing. We all know what Big Al and Gomes are capable of and how much they want to beat the C's.

I see nothing wrong with you supporting 2 teams. You seem to still bleed T'wolves blue.

It's funny you mention this. We just found out one of our mods has been posting on the Phoenix board and referring to Suns as "we" and "us". I spend so much time on the Celtics I don't think I could handle following another team full time.

As far as tonights game. I think this games means a lot the C's and their ability to win without KG. You guys might be surprised at the energy level coming from the Celtics bench tonight. Rondo has been playing out his mind since KG went down so expect a big night out of him on both ends of the floor. I don't think Bassy is going to be able to get off like he did last game but Al and Ryan should still have big games but fall short in the end. Celtics by 10+.

Good luck fellas!
