Ratliff Playing Tuesday?

Post#1 » by Klomp » Tue Feb 12, 2008 4:29 am

I just saw on WCCO that Ratliff could see time tomorrow vs New Jersey. Sorry no link, because it was on TV.

idk about Theo, but Shad is listed as questionable.

A few notes: Theo Ratliff continued to look good in five-on-five, full-court action

Another rebounder and defensive player is always a good thing.

I hope he comes back. It'd be nice to eventually see the team with everyone healthy.

Great timing. If he can show he can be on the floor before the trade deadline next week, he increased his trade value.

I still think he's pretty untradable because we need his cap space, but if we sent out Craig Smith with him, and maybe got back a smaller expiring, we could still stay under the lux and re-sign Gomes and Telfair. After seeing the Gasol trade, Ratliff's contract could be an incredibly valuable piece facilitating a big trade, particularly with Craig Smith as incentive.

- Theo Ratliff went through drills with physical therapist Andre DeLoya and continues to improve, though he won't see game action until after the break (barring unforeseen circumstances).

Mike Trudell says no.
