Our theme today is Criminal-They stole our name
As much as they whine they could never have...
They stole Pau
and we all know about..
and just to scare them..
ok, lets kiss and make up
We got the return of the Lima shrine
who wants some lima?
and for good luck, a Fisher mini-shrine
Lets hope the Ghost of George Mikan is with Big Al..
Keys to the game...
They run small like we are (odom at 4, Pasol at 5) should be a very high scoring game. The match up of Gasol and Al will be key. Kobe will get his, but try and keep the supporting cast down. Hopefully they underestimate us. If not, lotto balls.
*this thread was made in good humor, rabid laker fans need not spaz

No, she is actually married to Borat, I just put her there because her name is Isla Fisher.

We're doomed.

This could be ugly. However, Al could have a big game. Pau isn't exactly a beast inside defensively, I don't think Odom would guard him, and Radmonovic would get bullied around.

Wow, that was probably the most surreal game thread of the season. Good job!
I'm probably going to miss this one, too, though I may be able to catch the end of it.

FSN usually has a reply the next day.
"surreal" why do you say that?

remind me never to go the the lakers forum again. If a forum could give a mental STD it would be that one.

Yeah, me neither.
milesfides wrote:Bynum is already a slightly better rebounder per minute and a significantly better shotblocker. The latter is especially important as a defender - a legit basket protector is vital to a team's defense.
Bynum is also taller and longer, giving him a significant advantage in the post. You can throw him a wider variety of passes (as well as mistakes) and Bynum will still convert due to his length and hands.
Jefferson doesn't have that. They're physical traits unique to Bynum.
Bynum also has a lot of upside, both physical and game. Jefferson? I might be selling him short, but I think he's close to maxing out his physical potential (he looks built and solid) and his game is already fairly diverse (more than half his shots are jump shots).
Bynum's still got chicken legs, this is his first year in which his lack of strength isn't a liability, and unlike Jefferson, nearly almost of his baskets are right at the rim. So, considering his soft hands and improving footwork, you could see much more potential as Bynum develops his game away from the basket.
Nothing to take away from Al Jefferson, he's a solid post player, as solid as they usually come, but Bynum is turning out to be that rare big man that comes only once every NBA generation.
Shaq --> Tim Duncan --> Andrew Bynum
(apologies to Dwight Howard and Amare Stoudemire)
80% of that post is so ridiculous, the only parts that hold true are the first two paragraphs.
The bolded part made me laugh. It's funny when people try to write on guys they have never seen; it is so obvious this guy is pulling stuff out from his butt.
Bynum is good, but they make him sound like Jesus Christ in a 7foot body.
