Being that we have seen more Al than Bynum of course we will say Al. Being that Laker fans are the knick fans of the west of course they will say Bynum.

Fact of the matter is we wanted Al not bynum for the KG trade.

That's a little unfair. That'd be like me saying Wolves fans are the Jazz fans of the midwest. I'd say all fans overvalue their players to an extent.

on this topic, good point that you guys took Jefferson instead of Bynum in the KG trade, I hadn't looked at it from that angle.

There's no chance the Wolves would do that. Al creates his own offense, Bynum does not and never will. Al is already past Bynum's ceiling on offense.

I guess it's a good question. I thought you were gonna be a troll, but you're fine.

No way we'd trade Al for Bynum. Al has captivated the fans and most importantly the ownership in just one year. McHale loves his game, and Glen Taylor loves that Al didn't ask for max money, because Al didn't think he was a max money player yet.

Bynum is good, plays good defense, and has a nice frame.

Al is a low-post scoring machine with decent (not great) defense.

I would keep Al just because I like his game better.

Al Jefferson, even though I like Bynum and his drastic improvement.

I actually started liking Bynum over the past few weeks but I still hate it when LA fans (or better trolls) say Bynum IS better instead of will be. dunno if he will be better but he certainly isn't better right now. with that comment I don't want to take anything away from Bynum.

I know it won't happen but I'd love to see both players playing in a wolves uni. I guess they'd compliment each other really well

Lets see, on a team that struggles scoring points WITH one of the most diverse offensive post players, do you think we will trade him for someone who basically just dunks? I don't.

They'd take Turiaf over Al too probably. Anything that lives in LA is golden.

Bynum before he got injured Dec-Jan was doing around 17.4 11rebs 3blks 65%+ shooting so i would probably take bynum and his defense is better then AL.

He's only 20, and i think he can create his own offense but LA just doesnt need him to do that rite now.

True, but there is no player in the league that is more over-valued by their own fans than Andrew Bynum. Just take a look at the player comparison boards, where Laker homerism over Bynum has made them the laughingstocks of the whole board.

That said, I think you asked the question in earnest, so I'll try to give you a quick answer.

Bynum is averaging 13.1 PPG, 10.2 RPG, and has Kobe Bryant on his team drawing defenders.

Al Jefferson is averaging 21.3 PPG, 12.1 RPG with no help whatsoever.

I like Bynum a lot, but I prefer Al.

I noticed an interesting statistic just now. Kevin Garnett has already missed 8 games this season (not counting tonight). That is the most games hes ever missed in a season in his career. Previous high was 6 games missed, which happened the past few years (which included his mysterious injury, correct?).

Yep. Left knee tankinitis.

That guy would play eighty-THREE games every season, if the team didn't force him to sit.

I don't hink that's a fair assessment. Bynum is still very young. He's very athletic for his size.

Deep down I want to say I'd take Bynum but I'm afraid of his dramatic improvement that happens to take place during a year he can play for a contract extension. Even his own coach said he thinks Bynum is motivated by money.

What happens when he gets paid? I guess we'll see next year.

For now, my answer is cautiously Bynum.

I really think if Bynum were on this team, it would make it so much easier to draft Beasely. Bynum is not a first scoring option so Beasely could easily take that role. I think Beasely fits better with Bynum than he does Al.

But who knows, we might win out and get the 14th pick.

^ I think Jackson was making fun out of Bynum with the money statement

The triangle offense is great for Andrew Bynum since I guess he can only get dunks and layups from good passes by other players.
