I think right now, Craig Smith is the least likely of the big three FAs to return next season. So why not try to trade him?
Craig Smith for Kyle Lowry?
With Memphis' trade with LA, they are crowded at PG and have very little interior offense. This deal fixes both problems, while also giving the rebuilding Griz another expiring if they don't want to resign him.
For us, it gives us another option at point. Jaric is better as an off guard, and tonight we are trying out Foye there. Right now, Telfair is our ownly true point. Plus Lowry and Foye have good chemistry. He also is someone we wouldn't have to worry about resigning this offseason.
Thoughts?

We have too many young guards we are trying to figure out. No need to add someone else. lets see what sticks with Foye/Bassy/Shad before we add another piece.
