Those minutes really came at the expense of Marko Jaric, out with a migraine. Brewer played 9 minutes less than his average. Jaric played 29 minutes less than his average.

Here's an interesting fact. Jaric has played over 40 minutes in four games:

It should be no surprise that Marko Jaric was third on the team in win shares (behind Al and Gomes .. Walker is almost last in the NBA) halfway through the season when we were 7-34. His position may have increased, since that does not include the the last 14 games, where the team went 5-9, including the GSW and PHX games where Jaric went 16 PPG, 8 RPG, 10 APG, and 15 PPG, 8 RPG, 10 APG.

The surprise of the Utah victory was that the Wolves could win without Marko Jaric on the floor. This is very encouraging, because I see him as a player that helps the young Wolves get into the right positions, and he makes an extra pass to help them get the ball in positions where they can succeed. I hope this is an indication that the young Wolves are truly improving, and hopefully it will mean that they can give more of Jaric's minutes to younger players and still have a good chance at winning ballgames.

His personality is good to have on the team. We can always use a defensive minded hustle guy.

if he continues to play like last night I think we made a helluva deal. he was so aggressive and brought in so much energy. if he continues like that I wouldn't mind resigning him for cheap if he wants to do it as well

I'm actually not suprised at all by any of this.

I did a double take when I first saw him on the court because he looks so much like Lebron James.

I really liked what Snyder brought to the table last night. He's a physical defender that sticks his nose in there on the boards. He's also a solid ballhandler and passer, along with having just enough of a jump shot that defenders need to respect it. He also does a good job taking the ball to the rim. It'd be nice if he could hit from the charity stripe at a respectable rate, though. He could be a nice fit at SF on the roster.

how many FTA did he have last night? 2? or were it even more? I guess it happens to everyone that you miss a few shots. shaddy even missed his first 2 FTA...

He was 1-4 last night. It's been a problem throughout his career, though. He's only been above 67% from the charity stripe once. Maybe getting more consistent playing time will help (his best year from the stripe was also the year he got the most playing time), but as of now I'd say it's more of an area of concern than something he can hang his hat on.

oh my bad... well I never followed houston so I don't know anything about him.

if that's a problem for his career it is certainly not good but as long as the other departments of his game are pretty much flawless (it seemed so last night) I can live with it. he's still young... though free throw shooting is probably the easiest thing to work on

He is a 68 percent free throw shooter in his NBA career. IMO, FTs are mental, once/if he gets more settled he will do much better.
