Dual S&T Legal?? MN\PHX?

Does anyone know if its legal to S&T 2 players for 1. I havent found any rules against it.

For example:
Smith s&t + Gomes s&t for Diaw + atl pick

Don't jump all over this with omg Diaw's contract and all that as I understand the ramifications and concern. I remember the Diaw + Jaric swap talks from long ago and posters were luke warm to it. I know this isn't any better as we end up spending 16m a year on Jaric + Diaw and add an extra year of diaw, but I'm simply wondering if these sorts of deals are possible.

As for the books MN still has enough to make a run at a max FA in 09/10.

I see Diaw and Jaric as similar sorts of overpaid players. Overpaid, but unique in that they can both play 3 spots well. Both are pass first and work well with the score first types we have on the roster (al\foye\mccants). This improves bench depth and limits injury risk if a starter goes down. I also think Al + Diaw would work really well together, so I'm not entirely against Diaw simply because of his albatross contract.

Getting Diaw doesn't help with the defensive big we are seeking, but could get us closer to that piece of the puzzle this year if the ATL pick comes our way. I don't think Thabeet falls into this range, but its possible. There are however several bigs who could end up in this range that could fit well. I'd gamble and take the kid from Congo who can jump out the gym.

I think this idea works well if MN drafts Rose, Beasly, or a sf with the early pick(randolph\greene\gallinari) and leaves MN in modest financial shape.

It doesn't work as well if you are dead set on taking the C or the BPA guard with the early pick if mn gets in the 3-6 range.
