R. Hibbert 16 min, FG 3-3 FT 0-1 6 pts, 1 reb, 5 PF
Fouled out of game and team lost.

B. Lopez 28 min, FG 10-20, FT 10-11 30 pts, 4 reb, 3 PF
Hit game winning shot to send team into sweet sixteen.

If there was any debate between Lopez and Hibbert I think it is over after this weekend. Roy "Huggies" Hibbert had a pretty lousy weekend to end his college career. Lopez on the other hand has been very impressive. If they weren't playing Texas in Houston I'd pick them to advance to the elite eight. I still expect quite a fight from Stanford. Even Robin Lopez has been fairly impressive with his play. Maybe the Wolves can draft them both and have Maddog there to commemorate the occasion.

It's all about value. I think the consensus had already developed that Hibbert had long ago fallen below an early lottery pick. I'd still be happy getting him somewhere 12-18 if the Wolves pick up another pick.

As for Lopez, despite the numbers, I've been unimpressed - too bad none of the other potential 3-6 picks had much of a tournament either. I guess it was naive to expect the tournament to clear things up. If anything it's just made things murkier.

We'll snag him in the second round the way he played.

*waits for worm guts to quote me like he always does and say something about my post*
