So, does it sound like he wants out?

He has some good points. For the first time in his career he gets to choose where he wants to play and he wants to make sure he ends up on a team that he can help move forward. With the wolves history he isn't certain if they are trying to become a team that wants to win. He sees a lot of young players in need of veteran leadership. He also doesn't know if he will have a place here with players like Gomes, McCants, and Brewer getting PT.

I think it all depends on the draft. I'm not picking for need around Kirk Snyder, Marko Jaric or really anyone but Al Jefferson. If Gallinari, Mayo or any other player that will take some time on the wing is the BPA, I think Snyder is the odd man out.

It sounds to me like he's not very interested in a long rebuilding process. He wants to be on a winning team. That's OK.

I agree with big3, there's no way Snyder affects the draft. If McHale even thinks "we've got Snyder, we don't need Mayo" he should be fired immediately.

I like his hussle, but I agree he will be the odd man out. If we had a chance to move some of our undesirables, I would for sure want to keep him. But the Wolves got some limited space, and some needs to fill.

It's unfortunate, I think overall he is a good fit, but as big3_8_19_21 eludes to, you don't pass up on some of these draft guys just because we have Snyder.

He sounds like he's on his way out to me.

this is a very odd case in that he will probably choose the team that gives him the most money, but it will all be practically the same because it's the minimum. i really like him, but whatever, just getting rid of the gerald green headache is worth it.

It probably doesn't matter that he won't be coming back.

I feel like every team needs a player like him; a stat-stuffer who does a little bit of everything, but I'm not going to be upset if he leaves.

We did get a second rounder from the deal. It's win-win.
