$1 Season Tickets?

Anyone see the Wolves "Pay the Pick" promotion?

We get the #1 pick, you only pay $1 per game.
We get the #2 pick, you only pay $2 per game.

You make a $43 non-refundable deposit, then watch the lottery.

Don't people tend to come down at halftime anyway?

I was thinking of doing this and only buying the tickets if we got the 1st-3rd pick, but they charge you even if we get the 6th pick.

43 dollars even for nosebleed seats is a hell of a deal though.

hell if you go to 4 games (say there 10 bucks a piece) you could break even. It's a hell of a deal and I'm jealous. Granted you may not get 1st so price moves up but that means a cpl more games you gotta go to just to break even and you can go to all 41...

That's been up for a while now. Don't you read Canis Hoopus anymore shrink? We could use the criticism.

I don't remember the last time I went to a Wolves game and didn't move down.

hah youd pay more for event parking in a few games than for season tickets, its a very good deal. I may just fire in 43 bucks for the heck of it.

I'm considering it too, and I haven't been to a live basketball game in a long time. The deal is open to the first 500, and the despoit is non-refundable. If the Wolves ended up with the fifth pick, and a season tickets cost $215, people wouldn't get their $43 back if they decided it was too expensive.

I hate far away seats. I'd rather go to one game with good seats than 10 with crappy seats.

I've never been to a wolves game farther than 5 rows back or in a box, I don't really enjoy live basketball that much to be honest. Much better on TV w\ a DVR so you can pause to piss or rewind to prove the ref was wrong!

I've moved down probably 20 times and only two or three times I've gotten talked to for it. One time some rich ass hole actually got up and told on me and my little brother. I watched the people take their coats and leave, and it was the fourth quarter. I was pissed.

I was reading Sherlock Holmes stories a few weeks ago, and those stories are crazy, he's shooting up cocaine and being admonished by Watson for it, Sherlock is way cooler than his reputation gives credit for.
