WORST all-time Wolves team

so much to choose from, but I'll go:

1st team:

PG William Avery
SG Richie Frahm
SF Ndudi
PF Sean Rooks
C Paul Grant

2nd team;

PG Huddy
SG Gerald Green
SF Super Dupe
PF Curley
C Kandi

Sidney Lowe needs to be on the list, worst player in Timberwolves history.

But, sadly, one of it's best coaches.

How could you guys forget this guy. AAAAAT CENTER, 7 FOOT 2 INCHES, TWO PACK A DAY SMOKER AND EVENTUALLY TRADED FOR THE EQUALLY HORRIBLE STANLEY ROBERTS:

STOJKO VRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRANKOVIC!!!![/img]

^I was going to nominate Stojko for starting center. How about Gundars Vetra in the Marko Jaric role?

Scott Roth and Todd Murphy were also pretty terrible if I remember correctly. People always forget the guys on the inaugural team.

WOW! Scott Roth, would never have remembered that name, though Todd Murphy knew how to throw his weight around down low.... Man were we bad!

Not sure they were our worst, but wasn't a fan of Gerald Glass or Felton Spencer (probably due to being a need pick here). Also, Bill Curley for a few years and Winston Garland was here for a bit.... sigh....

Trevor Winter - 6 fouls in 5 minutes on Shaq.

We could just make a team of Gopher rejects who ended up on the Wolves.

Trevor Winters at center, John Thomas and Rick Rickert at the forward spots, Quincy Lewis and Sam Jacobson in the backcourt.

In terms of what his presence meant to the future of the team, I'd nominate Joe Smith.

But that's not really in the spirit of what you're looking for, is it...

I thought about:
PG: Marcus Taylor
SG: Jerome Allen
SF: Rick Rickert
PF: Sherron Mills
C: Loukas Mavrokefalidis

Then went with:

PG: Igor Rackocevic
SG: Ebi
SF: Gunders Vetra
PF: Loren Woods
C: Charles Shackleford/Stoyko Vrankovic/Paul Grant
6th man: Hollywood Robinson

Avery was a disappointment, but never got enough run to really suck. Green was bad, but at least could score. Rooks had a decent run with Dallas and wasn't nearly bad enough to pass up the 3 headed C on the list, but would've ranked behind Felton Spencer and Luc Longley for worst consideration. I liked Curley, but he was too injured to do much, but his playing with heart, if not talent kept him off the list.

Oops. I had him at SG, then moved Ebi from 6th man to SG when I put Hollywood Robinson there. Heal definitely deserves mention.

I feel bad for some of the younger posters that never got to hear Kevin Harlan's "Shaq-fu is in the house" on the 3-4 good plays Charles Shackleford had in his career with us.

I thought of Shane Heal but decided not to mention him out of respect for our Aussie posters.

damn,

I avoided this thread because I assumed it was about the good Wolves. This is a great topic. It's almost like therapy but in a sick and twisted kinda way.

Shaq-fu is in the house!!! - that needs to be somebody's sig.
