TY for making a new one... I couldn't sift through all of that thread and be sane with myself.
Do any of you guys play MMO's?
If so, have you heard of/thinking about playing WAR - Warhammer Age of Reckoning?
I recklessly play Call of Duty 4 and Custom Games on Warcraft III - The Frozen Throne (most notably DotA)
I used to be a Diablo 2 and Starcraft Nut.
Flashback -
NBA Live '97 - I used to play as the Indiana Pacers and Fred Hoiberg - as a rookie was 100% from beyond the arc.

What's up with the ban on 100 plus threads? I love making huge threads becaue it shows that something interesting is in that that thread. I have heard the compiling data pitch before but I doubt Real GM will ever need to compile data on a videogame thread.

I just know the rules. Threads longer than 100 pages need to be locked. I think it might have something to do with loading. Honestly, I have no bloody idea.
I am excited for Gears of War 2

I know it got killed in a review last night. Every time a game refers to itself as a Halo-Killer bad things happen.

In regards to Warhammer Online:
An MMORPG based heavily on PvP / RvR (Realm vs Realm) between 6 factions (3 good, 3 bad, each with their primary enemy). 4 classes within each faction. Supposedly designed to have fast paced combat/action. They pushed back the initial release time to Q4 (similar to Age of Conan being pushed back to late May like was) I believe, to flush it out more and not have the poor release Vanguard did. Beyond that, do not have much for you minus the site which you probably already know.

Hope some of this helped. Personally not too excited about it, but then again haven't found much out there since EQ.

Is MGS coming out this year? I might have to buy a PS3 for that.
And what's with the new Gran Turismo concept game?

Ok I was getting tired of everybody and their grandmother beating GTA: IV so I finally beat it today. Lots of choices at the end their. I'm pretty happy with how everything worked. Don't know what I'll do now though. I guess I'll finish all the little side missions I haven't done yet

Thank you for not spoiling the ending for me. I just took Michelle on our second date and got lucky.

yeah, I thought the demo was a little lame...it's such a cool concept, but apparently executed very poorly...I was excited for a PS3 exclusive game that actually looked GOOD. It's possible that they could beef it up and release a sequel that's actually worth the $60. I have a hard time seeing Call of Duty 4 getting passed up by anything in the near future on my PS3. I just got my PS3 like a month ago so I only have 3 games. CoD4, Unreal Tournament III and NBA 2k8.
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.

Was fortunate enough to receive a Wii for my birthday earlier this week (thirty something, don't ask
); any reccomendation on games? Wii Sports has been fun, but not sure how half the regular sports games work on it. Tried a little Madden on someone else's and that felt a little odd. Outside of sports games, anything greatly recommended? Having a family, will probably end up getting Mario Kart, may try smash brothers, but not sure otherwise. Suggestions appreciated.
