How about where miami gives up marion, wright, and a future first for #3pick and bad contracts.

If Marion was 4-5 years younger I'd think about it.

Hell no.

Besides, we already have your future first rights.

The Heat's most valuable piece is an expiring Marion -- what's MIN going to do with him and his $18 mil contract this year? You think he's likely to want to re-sign? What do you think MIN would want to pay him. MIN already owns MIA's future 1st, and we only have $6.5 mil of bad contracts (Jaric) as well.

At a minimum, a third team needs to be involved, that can take advantage of Marion for a run at a ring next year, but I don't think MIA is giving up close to enough in value.

that expiring contract could be used to sign a top free agent next offseason.

I don't think that's enough value for the #3 pick and at this point, the Wolves are looking to add more talent than get rid of dead weight.

The only real bad contract the Wolves have on the roster is Jaric. Walker's deal is expiring after this season. Hudson and Howard were already bought out.

If Wolves don't sign anyone this offseason, they'll be able to do that anyway.

By all indications this is the opposite of what Riley wants to do.
