MIA/NJ/MIN

Post#1 » by mhfan3 » Fri May 30, 2008 10:38 pm

Heres a trade if Rose goes #1 tell me what u think.

Heat trades: #2 and Blount
Heat Receives: #3 and #21

Timberwolves trade: #3 and Jaric
Timberwolves Receives: #10 and josh boone

New Jersey trades: #10, #21, and Josh Boone S.Williams, M.Williams
New Jersey Receives: #2, Jaric, Blount

Miami does this trade to get Mayo and possibly Robin Lopez at 21.
Minnesota does this trade to drop back and get Love, who they really want and also to get some extra size.
New Jersey does this so they could get the guy they covet most in this draft in Beasley.

Sorry man, but you will not find any interest whatsoever here. We have no interest in Boone and feel that you would need to give up way more for use to give up Lopez/Mayo and drop all the way down to #10.

Simply put, not enough value for MN to drop from #3 to #10. Josh Boone wouldn't be enough for this drop. S. Williams wouldn't be enough either from MN side. Heck, I would go as far as saying both Boone and S. Williams combined doesn't merit a jump up to the #3 pick.

The feeling is the drop in talent from pick #3 to #4 here. Mayo having more superstar potential then Lopez, Love, Gallinari, etc.

Not sure we can take on the extra salary either.

It amazes me how other teams fans are after our #3 pick and a shot at OJ.

I don't think the heat fans are getting the message... they are not going to be able to trade down to the #3 pick. They are stuck. Either select Beasley or Mayo and we will take whoever is leftover and be happy.

Mayo has the work ethic and could be great and Beasley IS carmelo anthony with a 3pt shot. Either way, we get what we need...a potential superstar.

Yeah people get to caught up in they think they have value. Yes the 2nd pick has value but not for us at 3 to move up a spot. If we were sitting at 4 or later then different story but as stated above Beasley or Mayo either way

Lmfao.

Dropping Jarics contract is barely worth moving down to 5, none the less 10.

Terrible trade
