How much would you trade for Durant?

I don't think he will be traded but how much would you be willing to trade to get him?
3rd pick/Brewer/McCants for Durant
It could blow up in the Wolves faces if Mayo becomes great.
The Sonics look good after this. They could trade either pg plus Wilcox for a better pf.
Watson/Ridnour
Mayo/McCants
Green/Brewer/Wilkins
Wilcox/Collison
Lopez/Petro/Sene
The Wolves front court is just sad (as if you all didn't know already). Both 2nd round picks would need to be big guys.
Foye/Telfair
Jaric/Buckner
Durant/Gomes
Jefferson/Walker
Richard/Madsen

I'd be hesitant to give up anything more than the 3rd pick. Nothing against Durant, I think he'll be a great player. We can't afford to trade all these assets until we get a bonafide big man next to Big Al.

I don't see the sonics doing this since durants already a franchise player.. and his second half was really good.... third pick lopez can be bust and may not be as good as advertised...

They can take everything other than Al.

First of all, it would take the farm, plus another farm to pry Durant away from Seattle. I don't think any combination of players plus the #3 could get us Durant. We would HAVE to give up Big Al.

3rd, Brewer, Smith, and Miami's or Bostons first next year. That's two lotto picks in the 3rd and Brewer, an additional first next year, and a second round steal in Smith. 3rd, Brewer, Smith, and Bostons pick would do. Foye, McCants, Durant, AJ, Richard/player X....that player could be if we combine our 2nd to get to the first and grab either Speights or Koufos....It kills our depth, but we could resign Telfair, and having Gomes, Jaric, and Snyder to help our bench,...which is a solid bench to put with that starting five. Sonics could draft Mayo and Gallinari....which I believe those two would equal Durant even if he reaches his superstar potential. Foye, McCants, Durant, and AJ alone get me a semi in terms of the offense that squad could put out!

This question is academic. Durant is the face of the Sonics. He's their one piece of hope for fans that need hope more than any other. He will not be traded.

The Sonics wouldn't do this trade. Durant is a franchise player and was considered so even BEFORE he played one second in a NBA uniform. Why would the Sonics trade a 19 year old 6'10 franchise player for a 20 year old 6'4" combo guard, a young 6'6" sg/sf that looks like a BUST, and a bench player?

A good portion of the reason why Brewer was drafted so high was because of his "intangibles." He was credited as being a great defensive player and a winner. Well the Wolves were a terrible team last season and perimeter players put up astronomical numbers on his defense while his own offense is OBVIOUSLY not NBA caliber. He will go down as one of the worst lottery picks in recent years. People will talk about him as the player that was drafted before Thad Young, and Rodney Stuckey LMAOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo.

Corey being drafted too early does not mean Corey is a bust. He's going to be a capable NBA player, there were just better players drafted after him. This is not news to Wolves fans, nor is it NEW to Wolves fans. See: Stephon Marbury, Wally Szczerbiak, and Randy Foye among others. Wolves fans are familiar with busts, too (Ndudi Ebi and William Avery) - and bust Corey is not.

EVERY team has had a better player picked after their pick at some point. We also drafted Kevin Garnett with the 5th pick, though.
