Bulls fan here......I want to know what wolf fans thought of the idea of trading Jefferson.

Is there anything the bulls could offer (other then the 1st overall) that would make you think about trading Jefferson?

Not even for the 1st overall. Jefferson is without a doubt staying put.

Considering the numbers he put up this year and the fact that he was the center of the KG trade, he is as close to untouchable as you will find here. Any trade proposal would start with the #1 pick.

remember the trade value poll threads. Wasnt jefferson top 10 or so? I'm to lazy to find the link. They shoulda stickied that last one.

No way, it's not just that he's an amazing young talent, he also has a great attitude and we locked him down with a cheap long term contract.

Al was #9, the first overall pick was #18.

To be honest, I wouldnt trade Jefferson for the #1 overall pick.

I dont want to be like the vikes were with Moss....they traded Moss for peanuts and then picked GARBAGE in the draft and traded away the garbage they got for him....so they came away with NOTHING!!!

Bulls fans are the new Blazers fans. They luck out and get the first pick and they all of sudden think their franchise S**ts gold and can do whatever they want.

Jefferson ain't leaving. He is up there with Dwight, Bynum, and (perhaps) Oden as the best young bigs in the league. The only real asset the bulls have is the #1 pick and maybe Noah and that won't get it done.

If Jefferson hadn't gone straight to the NBA and was entering 2008 draft after 4 years at Arkansas, he would be the unanimous first overall selection (unless, of course, Dwight did the same thing. Then Al is #2 overall).

It's amazing how refined his post game is even after not going to college.

I doubt it. A big chunk of Jefferson's value comes from the fact that he's proven himself at the NBA level.

Based on what we've seen Al develop into, you don't think he would've absolutely dominated the SEC last year?

How much more could he have dominated the SEC than Beasley dominated the Big 12 as a freshman?

Perhaps not more, but just as much would be enough for him to get the nod over Beasley based on an extra inch and a half, a better attitude, and the fact that SEC > Big 12.

I need to see whether Beasley's 6'8 is in shoes or socks before I grant him that extra inch and a half. But Beasley would still have the advantage in athleticism, skills, and age. Jefferson might have gone number 1, but I don't think it's a given.

the sec is not better then the big 12.
